Here she trained with leading surgeons at the Institute of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery becoming a consultant aesthetic nurse gaining a huge knowledge base and becoming a specialist within the field. After her time in London, Katie came back to cardiff to work for one of the countries leading cosmetic surgery companies. Here she was responsible for up to 25 patients per day, ranging from administering non-surgical treatments to carrying out post-operative care. Katie then accomplished one of her greatest achivements in becoming an independent nurse prescriber at De Montfort University, Leicester in May 2011.
