Paediatric Dentist Consultation UK

We had to find an alternative to our NHS dentist recently and were recommended Shine by a friend, and have subsequently joined this practice. The experience couldn't have been more different from that of our former dentist of over 40 years! As l am a very nervous patient, ( having been traumatized as a child), and have had a fear of dentists ever since,l was reassured all the way through the initial consultation, and given a treatment plan which was fully explained to me. The actual appointment, although nearly two hours, was pain-free and much better than any l have ever had! The downside is the cost, however,the way things are going with the Entire UK health system, it looks like most of us will be forced to go private and make other sacrifices.

I visited Backwell Dental Care on 30/11/21 to see my Hygienist Mrs Helen Harrington. As usual, the procedure to enter the Reception area was controlled and gel used. We were seated metres away from each other. The Receptionist was very professional at all times. Helen was gentle, exceptionally thorough and her usual professional and kind self. On 01/09/21 I visited Dr Patrick Kennedy and he gave his usual caring, thoughtful and professional service. His skill is second to none and I have been a client of his for many years. I have never ever received such a professional service when visiting a dental practice. My husband who is a dental phobic now happily visits this practice with no anxiety whatsoever. He visits Dr Paul Bucknell who is most professional. I can highly recommend this practice which is 5 star at least. I was recommended many years ago by a friend who had amazing teeth. I have never looked back.

All my life, I have been so petrified of going to the dentist. My daughter-in-law recommended Melisha. Melisha made me feel so at ease straight away, she sorted quite a severe problem I had. I left knowing this is now my new dentist. Today I had an appt with the hygienist Anna, who again so kind and understanding. Great cleaning job on my teeth. Thank you

I have been with Antonio for 12 years, I have complete faith in him. His make you feel very much at ease plus his very friendly staff.

My appointment was for a consultation with a view to having dental implant work done. My dentist had recommended two local dental practices and this was the second one I visited. Smile seemed to me to be doing the work over a longer timescale which I felt was better in order to allow sufficient time for healing which would in turn give a more viable result.

St. Michaels was the easiest clinic to get to by bus, so I had my filling and dental examination done here. I thought I might have to pay, but the NHS covered everything. It was great value for money. I thought the clinic was really nice. In total, I had two appointments and I’m going to go back every six months now for check-ups. The team was very polite, but always professional.

Just came back from the practice, not normally one to review but must say that Rathnaa krishnaraju was absolutely brilliant, and so skilled. Managed to save a tooth that most would have said unrepairable with Composit filling. All the staff was so kind and helpful. Wish I had found this practice/ Rathnaa sooner x

Just recently completed my treatment and cannot recommend this practice highly enough. Staff are first class throughout the department, having to travel a distance to reach them. Appointments were always booked around my suitability. If I needed to change times this was arranged without quibble and reception go above and beyond to ensure your appointment can me met. What can I say about Matthew my implantologist other than outstanding. Totally felt at ease at all appointments and worked his magic to give me the confidence to smile again. So pleased I chose this clinic and will most certainly continue with their services.
