Due to an extremely upsetting childhood experience, I now suffer from a phobia of dentists. Such is my fear, that as soon as I enter the room and see the dentist chair, I start crying. The consequence of my phobia is I have only visited random dentists when necessary, and therefore had to experience invasive treatment such as root canal or extraction. As I have aged, I have realised how important it is to find a dentist and keep my teeth! I contacted Castle Park Dental Care online, (after much research to find the right practice with a female dentist). I then ignored their calls. They gently coaxed me into visiting the practice for a cup of coffee and a chat. Special thanks to Gail I decided I should at least have a first appointment, which I did with Ozge. She was amazing, listening to all of my fears through tears and also helped me with monitoring my breathing, (I hold my breath through fear) and helping me with breathing exercises to relax. Today I have been back to visit Ozge, after deciding to have the two required fillings in one session. I opted from the laser treatment, so no injections or aggressive drilling, I was astonished it was pain-free! Throughout the treatment Ozge explained exactly what she was doing, showed me the instruments she was using and continued to monitor my breathing, stopping when I needed a minute. I am now on the road to recovery in terms of my dental health, and equally creating new and positive experiences with a fantastic dentist. Thank you so much Ozge and Katie (Dental Nurse). I cannot highly enough recommend this practice, they really do care. For some this will be a long post, (so you will not have reached the end of it, I am sure). But, for those with a phobia of dentists it will be a short post, as you are looking for the answer, where I can find a dentist who will understand and support me. I have been with this excellent practice for many years together with my husband. The staff are friendly, efficient and very helpful. The latest treatment of broken tooth, emergency repair, and the final filling was addressed very quickly and all is well. I would highly recommend this practice. Emily and her assistant were patient and thorough.

I cannot praise this surgery enough and the expertise of Mr Patel. I have travelled from out of the area to this surgery since it first opened as, as a nervous patient Mr Patel and his whole team give me the time and reassurance to allow me to feel safe and undertake any treatments when needed. My 2 daughters have also been under his care for many years and he has been amazing with them too. As soon as you have contact with the surgery you are met with a friendly helpful team all this makes the experience of going to the dentist manageable. Thank you.

Narinder is a talented Dentist, I have a needle phobia, but was put at ease. I had an amazing porcelain crown fitted made the same day of my appointment in-house. All the staff are professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this dental practice.

Thank you to Plamen and all the excellent staff at the Meads Dental Practice for the wonderful service I received. I had root canal treatment for a broken crown which was absolutely painless, I didn't even feel the injection.

The best dentist by far. I have been traumatized by previous experiences. So nervous! I was greeted so calmly that put me at ease straight away. I had to have a tooth extracted that was fractured. Devastated!! Such professional caring service, not as bad as I thought it would be. Explaining the procedure and highlighting my symptoms. It all made sense to me on reflection. Whilst putting in my partial denture one of the front tooth came loose and out it went down the drain.. gone …I was devastated!! I called my own dentist for an emergency denture repair and they gave me the number for Confidents Denture Clinic. I left a message because the clinic was closed. In any case I would have to be fitted in for an appointment and then they would have to take my teeth to be repaired in a laboratory. I have no idea how long I would have been without them and going to work with a gap would have been embarrassing. I received a call back within the hour after I had exhausted everywhere else advertising on Google that was offering denture repairs but because it was a bank holiday I would have to wait until Tuesday and then the denture would have to be taken away to a lab to be repaired which meant I would have to be without my teeth. The service I received by Confidents Denture Clinic was God sent. I was treated as an emergency and an opening was made for me to attend first thing the next day. I was quoted two prices over the phone depending on whether the plate was still intact which meant there was no surprises. I was explained the procedure when I arrived and I had the replacement within an hour. I must say the replacement made is much better than what was lost. I will definitely now have a partial denture made for my teeth from Confidents Denture Clinic instead of my own dentist because they do everything on site and take the best care to match the colour with my own teeth, they even balanced my plate so that my dentures fit my gum perfectly between my teeth without the wobble I came in with at no extra cost. Brilliant, denture clinic and excellent work I 100% recommend !!

I was recommended to this practice and I'm so glad I was. I can't compliment everyone at the surgery highly enough they are friendly, efficient and my cosmetic dentistry is fabulous along with routine treatments.
