I contacted Dr. Vilar after a veneer I had done in another country fell off. He took great care in reconnecting it and suggested I get a comprehensive X-ray, since I hadn’t done one in a few years. The scan revealed a defective crown with a cavity and excess cement under the gum — both from previous dental work abroad. Dr. Vilar was meticulous, thorough, and relentless in achieving a perfect result. He replaced the crown and ensured my gums were completely clean and healthy. He even arranged all the necessary appointments within just a few days so the entire procedure could be completed efficiently. Throughout the process. He made sure I was comfortable at every step. His English is fluent, thanks to his experience and training in the U.S., which made communication easy and clear. Highly recommended.

I had flown from Canada to have dental work at another Dental agency. But on my first visit there they had raised their price by 5x and required 2 return visits. I felt like I was being manipulated and cheated. I had heard about Tracey’s from a third party and not knowing what else to do I came to you. Alex met me at the front desk and I quickly found out that he organizes everything. Dr. Josua immediately took me into his office and did a careful consultation. In the 3 days I had left in Algodones, he did a major amount of work including dental surgery with 2 implants with sinus lifts. He was gentle, and kind, and made me feel like I could trust him. I found out later that he is not only a great dentist but a professor at 3 universities teaching dentistry. He is probably the most qualified dentist in Algodones. And yet very non-assuming. And when we were ready to leave, we needed a ride to the other side of the border to meet our transportation to Yuma. Marcela Tracey, the owner of Tracey’s Dental offered to drive us not only to the border, but she drove us through customs and to the other side making it so much easier for us with our luggage. She and her daughter are very kind and accommodating. Several days later I had developed an infection on the side where the implants were. I contacted Marcela and she immediately conferred with Dr Josua and advised me exactly what I needed to do. I followed their advice and everything cleared up. I know that they care about me. Not just my business. And that means everything. This is very rare no matter what country you are in. If you are looking for a dental office that is fair in its pricing, qualified and has caring staff I would recommend Tracey’s Dental.

Top of the line Doctors, assistants, service and equipment. All English spoken. Reasonable prices. I had 3 implants ~3 years ago and never had any problems. Most of the time I am not even aware of the implants until it comes out in a conversation.
