I recently underwent a full-mouth dental implant procedure (both upper and lower jaws) at Dr. Care - Implant Clinic in Vietnam, and I’ve got to say—it was an experience worth sharing. Before even stepping foot into the clinic, I had already done my homework. I had four consultations lined up with different dental clinics during my trip to Vietnam, and barring any major red flags, I knew I was going to choose one of them. Dr. Care just happened to be the first appointment on my schedule, and from the moment I walked in, it set a strong tone.

Right away, I was welcomed by a very professional staff, but what really stood out was the volume of foreign patients in the waiting room—people coming in for consultations, follow-ups, and even wrapping up their procedures. That spoke volumes to me. Seeing folks from all over—Asians, Europeans, Australians—made me feel like I was in the right place. It gave me confidence that this clinic had earned a solid reputation through word of mouth, and it reassured me that they were familiar with treating patients from diverse backgrounds.

During my consultation, I met with a doctor (not Dr. Danh Hanh) who clearly knew his stuff. I didn’t catch his name, but he was fantastic—honest, informative, and not pushy at all. He accurately assessed my condition and laid out my options in a way that was easy to understand. He didn’t try to oversell anything. He simply suggested that the best approach for long-term results would be to do both jaws at once, rather than splitting the procedures across months or years—and let me tell you, he was absolutely right.

This same doctor ended up being the one who extracted my teeth and installed the studs for the implants. I didn’t see him again after that initial visit, but he did a great job during the procedure. Afterward, Dr. Danh Hanh took over as the primary surgeon responsible for completing the implant work—and that’s when I really saw just how next-level this clinic is.

Once it was time to place the temporary implants, Dr. Danh Hanh’s attention to detail blew me away. He took so many precise measurements—checking distances from my lips to my cheeks, my nose, then having me smile—to make sure everything would line up perfectly. His care and commitment to getting everything just right was on full display. You could tell he wasn’t just “doing the job”—he really cared about the outcome. The results reflected that level of precision, and I honestly felt fortunate to be under his care.

His dental assistant was just as incredible. She was by my side throughout the entire process, helping me stay calm and comfortable. Given that I couldn’t really talk during the procedure, she somehow just knew what I needed. Whether it was a small adjustment or just a reassuring gesture, she was in sync with me the whole time. I joke that we had a bit of ESP going on between the three of us—and honestly, it kind of felt like that!

And before I forget—major shout-out to An, who I believe is the front desk supervisor or office manager. She was the one who helped walk me through the different implant options after my consultation. Since my phone number is from the U.S., she kindly added me on Viber to keep the communication line open—and I definitely took her up on it. I had tons of follow-up questions, and she always replied quickly and patiently, no matter what time I messaged her. Having someone like her as a point of contact made everything smoother. Kudos to you, An!

In short, I just want to say—great work by the entire staff, from the front desk to the surgical team. Everyone played a part in making this experience way smoother than I ever expected. And here's the cherry on top: the entire procedure cost me about one-fifth of what it would’ve cost in the U.S.—without sacrificing quality at all.

The staff kindly asked if I’d be open to leaving a review, but I was already planning on it. They more than earned it. Although this clinic specializes in dental implants, I came in for some general dental issues instead. Despite not being their primary focus, they handled everything exceptionally well. I require extensive dental work, including implants (this time, I received one implant, and two root canals), so I visited the Dr. Care clinic in June 2024.

From the beginning, I found the staff to be courteous and professional, explaining everything well, and booking my appointments around my difficult schedule.

The dental work itself was of a very high standard. Considering the intrusive nature of the work, the dentist and assistants took great care, and I felt absolutely no pain at all. I almost fell asleep at one point...

There were no complications, and everything healed beautifully after the procedures were completed.

The aftercare was great. All required meds were provided, with clear instructions, and follow-up calls to ensure everything was going well. I didn't need any of the provided painkillers at all.

Compared to prices in Australia, I paid roughly 20% of the price I was quoted there for the bare basics, but the quality of the implant I received in Vietnam was higher, as was the level of care.
I have more work needed, and will be returning to Dr. Care.
I have absolutely zero hesitation in recommending their services.
