Hello Natasha, We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your check up, have you thought of visiting one of our Hygienist, there are a few different services a hygienist can offer you • Scale and polish –removal of hard, built-up plaque and tartar which can’t be removed by even the most frequent brushing at home • Root planning or ‘deep-cleansing’ – reattaching the gum to the tooth. Provided to patients displaying early signs of gum disease • Oral hygiene advice - from tips on how to prevent the build-up of plaque by better brushing, flossing and tongue scraping to advice on diet to avoid tooth decay • Fluoride treatments - including fissure sealants and fluoride varnishes • Teeth whitening – including practice-based treatments, home sets or a combination • Air polishing – a gentle procedure which is guaranteed to remove 100% plaque and everyday stains using a fine jet of compressed air, water and fine powder particles. Thank you for you review and feedback. Our dental hygienist appointment are £49.50 for 30mins, I am sorry if you did not have that experience. Howerver all 30mins is not necessarily spent cleaning. The dental hygienist function is 3 fold, they diagnose problems, they treat problems and they educate to ensure the dental problems stop occurring. This last function is essential to keep your mouth in a healthy condition. our appointments are just under 30mins long. So clients may need multiple appointments to ensure their teeth and gums are healthy other may need fewer appointments. We tailor the treatment to your needs.
