I picked Perfect Balance having found an offer on Instagram. I was a bit sceptical at first but was so glad I went. Very happy with Rachel at St Albans. I went in really miserable having overdone my prep for a ski holiday and ended up with a knee problem a few weeks before my trip. She was thorough in her assessment and came up with a diagnosis and plan to get me through my holiday albeit strapped up and with lots of post-ski massage and stretching. I have continued with my sessions with Rachel and exercises at home and have turned a corner and have recently started returning to my regular exercise routine. Rachel is very empathetic, listens and is clearly very experienced. She picked up that my knee problem didn’t originate there and was the consequence of weaknesses elsewhere such as hip, VMO and IT band. Fix these and the problem goes away!

Sally Waters has helped me tremendously. I was in excruciating pain in my lower back, so much so that my wife called an ambulance. Weeks later when I was able to shuffle about I met Sally who literally has the magic touch. After just a few sessions I felt stronger and could start to lift things (albeit small) but nevertheless a few weeks prior I never would have dreamed of putting any pressure on my back. Week by week small things became heavier, and the shuffling turned into walking. Thank you, Sally!
I have just had my 1st sports massage with Matt after suffering headaches and tension, and I must say - it/he was impressive. He's obviously very knowledgeable and experienced, but also a thorough professional, and really puts you at easy. I've booked 3 further appointments and feel sure he will sort the problem. I've known Sarah since 2015 when she visited my wife at home. Sarah was always punctual. Was not an easy task for Sarah to do but she was so kind, understanding, patient and so professional throughout and even though my wife was terminally ill Sarah never gave up on her, kind and professional all the time. It was because I remembered how impressed I was with Sarah that when I was in trouble with my neck, back, shoulders and chest, she was my first choice. Was nice that she remembered my wife and we still talk of her even now. Sarah set out a programme of treatment and exercises, intensive to start but then easing as things improved. I was always confident with Sarah as I'd seen her a long time ago and Sarah is still so kind, understanding, patient, honest and professional. And two days ago on my last appointment, I was able to say I'm back in the gym again. Thank You Sarah! And to anyone reading this, all I can say is that I would genuinely most certainly recommend Sarah.
I hadn’t been to this practice for a number of years but was always impressed with treatment. This time I was suffering from persistent discomfort in my right leg below the knee when walking/running. The problem was diagnosed as due to an irritated nerve, and not considered a long term issue. Since my visit, the condition has improved.
