I didn’t experience any pain during the treatmentGary, UK, 26 09 18

I went for acupuncture at this clinic. I’m not sure if I got the results I was looking for, but the treatment certainly provided some measure of relief. Acupuncture isn’t about long-term solutions. I didn’t experience any pain during the treatment. Sessions were mostly fifteen minutes, but they could last up to half an hour. It’s a good clinic. Very professional. They charged me the market price. My therapist was very excellent and friendly. While the treatment didn’t solve my problem, I know they did their best to help.

They are considerate and able to fit in appointmentsCarolina, UK, 21 07 17

I have suffered from knee instability issues for almost two years, namely anterior knee pain, patellofemoral pain and patellae tendinitis. Since coming to the Physiotherapy Matters clinic my symptoms have improved and I hope that I will continue to improve as my sessions progress. I am always greeted with a friendly face, helpful advice and a great service. I initially chose this clinic after being recommended by a family member who also benefitted from the treatment that they were offered at the clinic. I always feel welcome and as if my injury really matters. I would like to thank the clinic also for being so considerate and able to fit in appointments which suit a busy schedule. I hope I will not need but if I ever am in need of further treatment, I know I will choose physiotherapy matters! Thank you to everyone at the clinic.

The orthotics were issued to me 10 days later and I have never looked backJane, UK, 04 06 18

I had attended the clinic with little hope after seeing many Podiatrist and orthopedic people in Derby, I suffered from ankle pain for over 15 years. The Podiatrist whose name I can not remember was lovely. He made me feel at ease. He assessed me thoroughly and took a cast for orthotics. The orthotics/insoles were issued to me 10 days later and I have never looked back. Thank you, young man. Best of luck. The Clinic also has a footwear shop. They have lovely shoes and the quality beats Clarks. My feet are wide and they stock an amazing stylish range.

I felt relief almost immediatelyRachel, Letchworth, 27 03 16

I went for physiotherapy treatment as I'd been suffering with a painful neck for several months. I was given acupuncture on my first visit after a detailed conversation with physio. I felt relief almost immediately. I went away with some exercises to do and an appointment for the following week. After my second visit where I had more acupuncture, I came away with some different exercises to do. I am due to visit next week and have to say I am feeling 90% better. Very efficient and friendly. I would recommend to my family and friends. Initial consultation was relaxed and full details taken. Treatment was explained before being carried out . It was a very calm and relaxed atmosphere.

First class service all roundMichael, UK, 11 01 18

I had a relapse of an old back injury in October and was recommended to use Gosforth Physio and Wellness. I was seen by James who I thought was excellent on all levels. He was friendly and immediately reassuring in respect of the injury, the treatment and recovery prospects. I had six sessions which ranged from assessment and simple relief exercises to strengthening exercises and acupuncture. James explained everything in detail from the nature of my injury to the treatment process, exercises and long term path to full recovery. It is very refreshing in the modern day commercial world and economic climate that I wasn't given the 'hard sell' for further sessions as James knew I was paying for the treatment myself so was very pragmatic and understanding in this regard. I definitely felt James was fully committed to my treatment and recovery rather than trying to have as many sessions as possible. First class service all round. I wouldn't hesitate to use James again if I have any further relapses and would recommend them to anyone who has any similar issues.

I feel that this is definitely a good use of my fundsJonathan, UK, 20 02 18

After much frustration at fitting my square peg into a round hole (the NHS), I found myself at PhysioFunction. After several sessions, my Cerebral Palsy was much more relaxed and the therapist commented on this. They knew I was competitive so recommended Neurofit classes. Having now had hydrotherapy my hand and leg are almost normal, especially post surgery which required a lot of hard work from the staff but I have gained virtual full use of it. I feel that this is definitely a good use of my funds. Whilst waiting for the appointment I found a leaflet describing what PhysioFunction could provide; this clinic happens to be my nearest and most accessible as I cannot drive. The first physio I saw realized that a lot could be done to improve my life and after several sessions recommend Neurofit as mentioned above (I like it to circuit training designed for people with Neurological Conditions). Likewise, when I started Hydrotherapy there were rapid improvements.

Within two weeks of massage and electronic pain relief treatment, I was back on the trailMichael, UK, 13 05 18

Over a 4 week period, I had two lower limb/Achilles injuries. With a triathlon season in full flow, this was a blow. Abdur was engaging, explained what he was doing and engaged me on the treatment. Within two weeks of massage and electronic pain relief treatment, I was back on the trail. Highly recommend Abdur as an effective sports physiotherapist who I would use again.
