Seraphim Aesthetics

01437 700041 Corner House, Portfield, Haverfordwest, SA61 1BW
Rating from 11 Reviews Not being able to see resultsAnonymous, UK, 25 Nov 16

I chose this clinic as it's the only place in the area that does IPL Hair Removal. It's a nice, family run company and they made me feel extremely welcomed. Unfortunately the treatment didn't have a very good effect on me, I was informed that this might be the case before I had the treatment and have decided to go ahead and try the electrolysis treatment instead. The treatment ended up costing 80 per session, I was disappointed after going to the clinic for several sessions and not being able to see results, but I accept that it might have just been me. I was recommended some creams to use to aid in my recovery. The staff are all very friendly and close knit. They are very flexible and often just opened for me it seemed.

Park Grange Advanced Skin Clinic

0191 580 2160 6 Grange Terrace, Stockton Road, Sunderland, SR2 7DF
Rating from 12 Reviews I highly recommend her!Margaret, South Africa, 13 Dec 17

I had some skin tags removed at Park Grange Clinic. I chose this clinic because it was nearer to me than some of the others. They were highly spoken of in the reviews I found online. The service and treatment were fantastic! The doctor was super friendly and reassuring. When I had my first appointment, she gave me the option of starting treatment immediately that day. Paula removed the skin stags that were the most bothersome first. I’m very happy with the results! I paid the same price I found online and didn’t need any aftercare of follow-ups. Once all the skin tags were removed, I started going to them for facial hair removal and I’ve had quite a few sessions now. Paula is a really lovely person and she’s done an excellent job with everything. My facial hair has decreased so much that there’s barely any left now. I can feel the results and everyone else can see it too. I highly recommend her!

Central Chiropractic Clinic

024 7610 0664 12 Park Road, Coventry, CV1 2LD
Rating from 4 Reviews Delighted to see a gradual improvement in my situationGladys, UK, 14 Oct 15

For the past two years I have been struggling with chronic pain in my lower back. I have experienced nerve pain in my right groin radiating pain down my leg and into my foot. The pain has varied from day to day which I believe has delayed diagnosis. The pain has changed my life quite dramatically on a physical level. Unable to be comfortable when sitting I now stand at work almost 90% of the time. In desperation over the time I have tried various treatments in the hope I could get some reprieve. The NHS system has been unable to achieve any diagnosis to date for the pain. I have had two lots of steroid injections into my lower back. This has produced even more pain and very unpleasant side effects which I have found harder to cope with. I have over the time tried various treatments, physiotherapy, chiropractic, hydrotherapy, osteopathic, yoga, walking, not walking and the list goes on, prescribed medications several neurological drugs and antidepressant’s. In desperation 5 months ago I finally tried The Central Chiropractic Clinic, Park Road, Coventry. To my surprise discovering they have not only a holistic approach to treating the whole of the body, but also they have many new treatments and up to date approaches all on the same site this I had not come across in any previous clinics. For example IDD Therapy, Shock Therapy, Laser treatment, Dry needling acupuncture, x-rays and ultrasound. Alongside the chiropractic and physiotherapy expertise which I have experienced all of these. I cannot express enough my gratitude to the whole team, Marie, Roy and John. Who have all treated me with the utmost dignity and professionalism at all times. Always supporting me emotionally and treating my sometimes debilitating day to day pain with a welcome smile of understanding. I have needed to call upon them in an emergency as the pain has been unbearable some days. They are positive, compassionate, approachable and very professional always listening to the daily challenges I have faced with the pain. They have encouraged me to stay in contact with the conventional methods that have been offered to me and to keep them updated. As a result of the complexity of my condition and with a combination of the treatments used I feel that they are managing my pain and I see a gradual improvement in my situation. I can now post this information for all to read as I can at least now see some light at the end of the tunnel and that I have regained some control over my life with their help and support. Gladys - October 15 I choose these from recommendation. My first visit went well so I decided to continue and have received an excellent experience throughout. It is worth knowing that all staff have experienced all of the treatments used and therefore are very well aware of what the patient experiences during and after therapies. I would have no reservations in recommending their services to anyone in need of help. Gladys -October 15

I had a back massage with Pete due to having pulled a muscle. Pete was brilliant and told me all about the muscle groups he was looking at and how the massage would help. I've never had a sports massage on my back before but found it to be great and well worth the fee. The clinic was clean and tidy and the staff were all lovely and responded super quick to my initial enquiry.

Rating from 1 Review I have completed six sessions and certainly feel they have been beneficialGeoff, Stubbington, Fareham, 16 Jul 16

I have been given a number of exercises to practice at home in between sessions at the hydro pool. The first session was with a physio who demonstrated each water exercise he wanted me to follow and the remaining sessions allowed me to carry out the exercises myself in my own time. I have completed six sessions and certainly feel they have been beneficial In searching for a clinic, I found this one to seem like good value for money and a convenient distance from my home. My first impression was good and to date I have been very satisfied. I would certainly recommend this clinic

Plymouth Naturopathic Clinic

6 Gleneagle Avenue, Mannamead, Plymouth, PL3 5HL
Rating from 27 Reviews I have seen a dramatic improvement in pain levelsCatharine, UK, 27 Jun 15

I sought treatment at the Plymouth Naturopathic clinic to help with chronic lower back pain, constant tiredness and IBS and have been receiving treatment since March 2014. My symptoms were such that I was having to adapt my lifestyle as I found my leisure activities of riding, yoga and running painful. I had also adapted my diet, excluding some foods as, at times, some foods caused attacks of IBS. In addition, I had come to a point where I was taking time off work: my job necessitates driving long distances and at times and I found I was in too much pain to drive. I have and continue to been treated with a combination of osteopathy and naturopathy. The naturopathic approach has seen me review and adapt not only what I eat and but also how I eat and drink. What seemed like simple solutions had an immediate effect on my IBS symptoms and over time they have resolved completely. My new approach to what and how I eat does not feel restrictive, indeed, the advice from the clinic was that it is counterproductive to become obsessive about diet so I can enjoy a treat too! I have experienced back pain for many years. As there seemed to be several things causing the problems an MRI scan was recommended in order establish exactly what was going on and to enable treatment to be planned accordingly. My treatment is an ongoing process which is carried out on a consultative basis; as one problem is resolved it usually leads to another area to work on. Hamish has described this process as “peeling the layers of an onion”. In addition to the improvements gained from osteopathy, the problems I experience with my back have also benefited from my change in diet with pain levels becoming more manageable. At this stage in the process, I have seen a dramatic improvement in pain levels; I estimate a 60 -80% improvement currently and my energy levels are dramatically increased. In addition to naturopathy and osteopathy I have also worked with Hamish to develop a yoga-based exercise routine which I do most days. My treatment process is ongoing: I feel very happy to have found a clinic where a consultative and inclusive approach is used. I have found my treatment to be exceptional value for money and would highly recommend the clinic and in particular Hamish Tailyour My experience of the Plymouth Naturopathic Clinic began with a Google search which led me to their website which was comprehensive and informative. I then spoke on the phone with Hamish Tailyour and having talked about my symptoms and possible approaches, I arranged my first appointment. I arrived for my first visit to find the waiting area at the clinic itself spotless and at the same time, relaxed and comfortable which immediately put me at ease. During my appointment Hamish was extremely thorough in discussing my history and went on to outline what he felt the best approach to improving my symptoms would be. He explained very clearly that he works on a consultative basis. We discussed both naturopathy and osteopathy during this session. Hamish then carried out an osteopathic assessment and some treatment. A huge plus for the clinic is that the ethos is to have longer appointment times (an hour to an hour and a half) than I have experienced in other clinics. I feel this allows for more detailed discussion, more comprehensive treatment and ultimately a faster recovery I would highly recommend this clinic and in particular Hamish Tailyour for anyone with complex issues who is looking for a consultative approach in improving their health. The clinic is highly professional and extremely easy to engage wit. As a result of working with them, my health has improved enormously.

Colonic Irrigation £60 - £70
Colon hydrotherapy (colonics) is a safe, effective method for cleansing the colon of waste material.  The procedure is very simple; the colon is repeatedly flushed with warm filtered water at low pressure which, when released, brings out with it any loose and impacted debris and toxic material.  The water is introduced and released via a small sterile tube inserted into the rectum to a depth of two inches (5cm).   The procedure is not painful or uncomfortable provided that a few basic rules are followed by a competent practitioner.  The procedure itself lasts approximately 45 minutes.
