She kept me informed throughout the processKaren, UK, 08 07 15

Following a GP diagnosis of vertigo, I had episodes of dizziness and was unable to walk in a straight line. After some online research into the condition, I discovered that the condition could be helped by vestibular physiotherapy. I decided to make an appointment with Kelly at Advantage Physiotherapy in Little Chalfont, and was not disappointed. Kelly put me through a series of head movements called "The Epley Manoeuvre" to move the fragments of debris within the channel of the inner ear. With some additional exercises at home I was able to resolve the balance problem after 3 appointments with Kelly. When the problem reoccurs, I do not hesitate to return to Kelly, and I would definitely recommend Advantage Physiotherapy to family and friends. I primarily chose this clinic because Kelly is trained to treat vestibular problems. During my first visit, Kelly listened to the background of my problem and then explained how she intended to treat me by explaining how the Epley Manoeuvre was conducted. She kept me informed throughout the process, and as a result of this I have every confidence in what Kelly recommends. Advantage Physiotherapy provides a professional service with knowledgeable and experienced therapists.

The clinic is easy to find and immediately I felt reassured that I was in safe handsBarry, UK, 17 12 18

I had been suffering from a bad back for several months and the condition had worsened to an extent where I was in a lot of pain and struggling to stand or sit. The diagnosis was a damaged disc in my lower back, potentially cracked. The treatment and advice I received at Grand Union Physiotherapy were excellent. Chris asked lots of questions to ascertain the history of my condition and after a thorough examination recommended basic stretching exercises until the pain was relieved. I had three subsequent appointments and each time the exercises were increased as the healing was progressing and my range of movement improving as a result. I would thoroughly recommend this clinic. I chose this clinic as two members of my family had also been treated there and were very positive about their experience. My first impressions were very positive. the clinic is easy to find and immediately I felt reassured that I was in safe hands. The treatment was very professional and thorough and at all stages, I had a good understanding of why the treatment activities were recommended and following my final consultation. I was confident that I had the knowledge to try and prevent further occurrences of back problems.

Action Physiotherapy Ltd - Physiotherapy Clinic in the UK

Action Physiotherapy Ltd

54b High Street, Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes, MK11 1AQ
Physiotherapists treat any problem related to muscles, joints, bones, nerves, ligaments and tendons.  We treat any problem associated with the spine and also provide post-surgical/fracture rehabilitation.  Physiotherapists use mobilisation techniques, manipulation, strengthening, stretching and Pilates exercises to treat injuries.  We can also use acupuncture to treat musculoskeletal conditions. Physiotherapists take a detailed history and use orthopaedic tests to diagnose a patient’s problems (in the same way as orthopaedic specialists would).  If we feel your problem requires further investigation (e.g. an X-Ray or MRI scan) we will refer you on to the necessary specialist for this to happen.  We will explain your condition and rationalise an approach to try to effectively treat it.  Treatment will usually encourage the patient to take an active role (e.g. modify activities, look at work tasks/set ups, or do exercises) to help them self-manage their problems and to also focus on injury prevention and to decrease the chance of injury recurrence.
