Grand Union Physiotherapy - Jo Pitts

Grand Union Physiotherapy

54 Breton, Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes, MK11 1DA

His treatment was tailored to my needs and working environmentJennifer, UK, 23 03 20

I chose this clinic partly because I know Chris personally. However, he is warm, personable and professional. I had torn a calf muscle and had some lower back pain which necessitated realignment by Chris. His treatment was tailored to my needs and working environment. The exercises allocated along with treatment during the sessions enabled me to take up regular exercise again.

KidsPhysio - Physiotherapy Clinic in the UK

KidsPhysio

Admin office, 46 London Road, Loughton, MK5 8AQ
KidsPhysio is an Independent Private Physiotherapy practice specialising in the provision of physiotherapy for children. KidsPhysio has administration bases in Milton Keynes and Hitchin.  We provide domiciliary physiotherapy within 20-miles of MK and Hitchin and clinic-based treatment at Flitwick and Ampthill Physiotherapy Clinic.  Helping children with physiotherapy is quite different to helping adults, from an anatomical, physiological and psychological point of view. To treat children effectively all these issues need to be considered.  At Kidsphysio, our physiotherapists have years of expertise and experience in helping children remain motivated and positive towards their physiotherapy and have found this to be an essential ingredient in their progress. We ensure our sessions are fun and interesting and something to look forward to – not fear. We can help with general concerns regarding your child's development. It may be that a 'one-off' assessment with advice will set your child on the right track and put your mind at rest.  We also provide assessment and reports for court cases and EHC assessments and plans.  If your baby or child has a specific condition, whether you have a formal diagnosis or not,  such as cerebral palsy, development delay, dyspraxia, torticollis or a genetic condition, we provide treatment whilst you wait to see an NHS physiotherapist or to supplement your NHS care. We provide physiotherapy treatment and advice for children with j

Action Physiotherapy Ltd - Physiotherapy Clinic in the UK

Action Physiotherapy Ltd

54b High Street, Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes, MK11 1AQ
Physiotherapists treat any problem related to muscles, joints, bones, nerves, ligaments and tendons.  We treat any problem associated with the spine and also provide post-surgical/fracture rehabilitation.  Physiotherapists use mobilisation techniques, manipulation, strengthening, stretching and Pilates exercises to treat injuries.  We can also use acupuncture to treat musculoskeletal conditions. Physiotherapists take a detailed history and use orthopaedic tests to diagnose a patient’s problems (in the same way as orthopaedic specialists would).  If we feel your problem requires further investigation (e.g. an X-Ray or MRI scan) we will refer you on to the necessary specialist for this to happen.  We will explain your condition and rationalise an approach to try to effectively treat it.  Treatment will usually encourage the patient to take an active role (e.g. modify activities, look at work tasks/set ups, or do exercises) to help them self-manage their problems and to also focus on injury prevention and to decrease the chance of injury recurrence.
