Today I had my first check-up since "lockdown" and was very impressed with the service. Extensive measures and professionalism ere exhibited to ensure that there was minimal risk to staff or patients. I am a busy General Practitioner and despite living near Swansea feel it is a worthwhile investment of my time commuting to Penarth for dental services with the Smile Studio. Not only is the care received exemplary, but the staff all feel like friends. The personal interest in taking a genuine interest in my life goes far above and beyond what I would expect from any medical establishment and impresses me greatly. When I chipped a tooth just before I was due to fly and get married in 2019, The Smile Studio ensured that the experience was as stress-free as possible by ensuring the problem was fixed promptly and were very accommodating to my work commitments in doing so. I cannot recommend the team highly enough for their technical knowledge, professionalism and for always going above & beyond for their patients.

My first experience of the treatment I received. Wood MediSpa, South Tawton, Devon is set in beautiful grounds and a magnificent building. From the minute you arrive you are made to feel at ease. Reception staff and the nurse involved were both very friendly and welcoming. Dr Toby Nelson carried out cryotherapy. He explained in detail what would happen and checked that I understood and was happy for him to proceed. I was treated with respect and kindness throughout my visit and certainly felt it was good value. I would recommend Wood MediSpa and Dr Nelson to people.

Rosebank Dental Practice gave me a 'smile in a day'. It's wonderful, I have been grinning from ear to ear ever since, my new teeth sparkling away, looking absolutely real. Everyone involved was so efficient, kind and thoughtful. I highly recommend them.

My daughter had a narrow upper jaw, which would have required having good adult teeth removed in order to straighten them. Dr Sulo is qualified to offer specialised treatment to widen the upper jaw just using removable braces, so has not had to lose good teeth. I have been so impressed with the service Dr Sulo has provided. He is friendly but really knows his stuff. He kept the cost to a minimum and we paid manageable amounts over the treatment time. He has been able to enhance her profile with this intervention. I would recommend this treatment wholeheartedly and only wish it had been available when I was young.

Astek have their dental lab on site which is how I believe all dentists should be set up. I had a front tooth knocked out in a childhood accident and have since been very conscious of the way my smile looks. In today's world of working on Teams and video calls for the main part, this was becoming more and more problematic for me. So along with attending appointments with my dentist, Leila, for general dentistry she took impressions and Ailsa, the proprietor, created two bespoke veneers to make my front teeth appear more normal and worked with both me and my lovely dentist, to tailor my smile when I wasn’t initially delighted with the result - cancelling afternoon appointments until we were done. Two veneers sound a simple, ordinary thing, but I actually didn’t have two front teeth to work with – just one front tooth and a smaller, differently shaped, side tooth which looked quite odd. I now don’t even think about my teeth when I’m on screen which is such a relief. Thank you so much Astek! To say I am a nervous patient is an understatement. Leila has been so patient and kind with me and I am so much more confident in the chair with her. She has also managed to sort out gum issues that have persisted for over 40 years, and now when I’m brushing my teeth there is no sign of anything in the sink but toothpaste. She also keeps me on track when I’m not doing as well as I should be, advising on which brushes, and toothpaste for sensitivity, and even demonstrating that you can get the largest of teepees into some very small spaces. I attended as a new patient for my first dental check-up and hygienist appointments. Both were excellent. The receptionist was welcoming, helpful and efficient. I was very impressed by the thoroughness of my check-up and the clear way that Scott explained what he was doing; what he had found and the next steps. A referral was made promptly and I felt that I was in very good hands. Similarly, my hygienist appointment was very thorough with lots of tips and encouragement that will help me to keep improving my oral hygiene. Again, I felt that I was in very good hands. I am very pleased with my first visit to Berry Lane Dental Clinic.

It was easy to bring my appointment forward. Friendly staff and the dentist explain well.
