They spent a lot of time with us to explain everything we needed to know, in comparison with all previous doctors that they didnt even want to listen our problem and their therapies were only to take money. Having experienced 1960s UK dentistry where it was the norm to have a full gas mask stretched across my young cherub like face and much slapping of my head from a very scary dentist to wake me up from such innocuous gas it came as no surprise that I made a career out of avoiding such places once I had become an adult. But having run out of excuses as well as teeth I found myself entering a dentist for the first time in 35 years and I couldn't have found a more perfect place. From the pleasant &pre-covid smiles and reassurances of all the staff, I was made to feel quite welcome and comfortable. In hindsight, perhaps my bravity was probably no more than the courage required from the doctor to take his first look into my mouth and see the wreckage that had taken place over the course of the last 35 years. Now, having completed many dental therapies over the last 2 years involving drilling, grinding, removing and filling, capping and crowning I can honestly say that I am so happy that I found Smile Dentist. It is a joy to smile knowing that those in front of me will no longer faint in horror. I couldn't have wished for a more pleasant dental experience I especially recommend a visit from those of a nervous disposition because you will not regret it. As a person who has a HUGE fear of the dentist, Friel couldn't have treated me better. I had to have an emergency molar extraction and she was so lovely and understanding of my fear. She talked me through everything. After a few days I had dry socket, and I called the surgery. Friel called me back and prescribed me antibiotics. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend Friel as a dentist 100%. It was more of an expensive appointment as it was a bank holiday Monday and an emergency appointment, but worth every cent.

I had a tooth removed and an abscess treated without antibiotics and very little pain. I healed very quickly. Very impressed🙏🥰
