I am a digital nomad from the United States, living and working in Latin America for two years. My friends had received braces from Esthetic Dent, and I went in for a consultation. I decided to get braces. For 2 years I flew to Bogota every month for an update. At the end of the process, my teeth were perfect. The total cost was around $2,000 not including traveling expenses. Olga the owner speaks English which makes the process perfect for Americans. A lot of the customers are American. The office is impeccable, the service and the results are either on-par or better than what you can get in the United States, at 500% cheaper in my case. Bogota is a very easy city to fly to from the United States, and many neighbourhoods are extremely safe. Stay around Parque 93 which is an upscale neighborhood but is cheap compared to USA living prices. And you can easily walk to the Esthetic Dent office. Download Google Translate and become good at using it. That’s all you need. If you’ve ever heard of medical tourism, it’s an extremely common and highly reputable service if you know quality companies and Esthetic Dent is one of them.

I was impressed as I walked into that high class looking clinic. The staff is very professional and Dr. Pena is a sweetheart and he is true to his work and patients. Dr. Pena made the procedure of my upper and lower bridges with 6 and 4 implants look natural and pain-free. Excellent treatment, very pleased! Highly recommend! Dr. Delgado was extremely knowledgeable, informative and kind! He really took the time to explain the work he was going to perform. I came from Chicago and had 8 implants, 3 root canals, a bone graph, and a tooth extraction. The cost was significantly lower then it would have been in the states. Dr was able to see me right away. Fixed my issue promptly and continued with exceptional service as more visits were required.

Treatment was excellent and very professional. I had 18 teeth removed and 8 implants put in over a three hour time period. There was no bleeding after and the pain level was low. After two days the temporary dentures was fitted. It has been about three weeks now and my gums are healed. The cost is about 1/4 to 1/5 the cost compared to prices in the US. Most people might be worried about the crime and the unknown going to Guatemala but I was met at the airport by the mother of the Alan (dentist). I stayed at her house in the heart of Guatemala City, she is very nice and she spoke great English. His mom drove me to the clinic and Alan drove me back. Of course, I have been there three times and travelled around with no problem.
