She started as a Certified Dental Assistant and then earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. She practiced as a Hygienist before returning to dental school. Upon graduation, Dr. Wiley practiced General Dentistry in the United States Air Force. She deployed to Saudi Arabia with Seymour Johnson AFB 1990-91 for Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Dr. Wiley earned the rank of Major before returning to the University of Pittsburgh to complete a three year residency for Orthodontic Specialty Training and earn a Master of Dental Science Degree. Dr. Wiley loves the dental profession and believes in giving back. She is involved in several professional and civic organizations. She is the Past President of the Board of Directors of the Wayne County Health Department and Past President of the Wayne County Dental Society.
