2implants with bone grafting 9zirconia crowns Fabricated in onsite laboratory Having had many problems with my teeth over the years I researched Dr John Paul Demajo in Malta and was delighted with the treatment I have had. I have had two implants with difficult bone grafting and he also repaired an implant that I had done in the UK. Having been very happy with that work I took the opportunity to replace a very old bridge with nine zirconia crowns that were fabricated in his onsite laboratory. The finish is fantastic, and I would happily recommend his work to anyone.

Rating from 3 Reviews Great clinic and great teamSofia, Malta, 17 Aug 14

Wonderful painless treatment that went much further than expectations. Had four implants placed and feel much more confident smiling. Great clinic and great team.

The dentist was very professional and talked me through itPer, Norway, 23 Dec 16

Excellent. I did a dental cleaning and one filling. Price of the filling was 40 euro while the cleaning and xray pictures cost me 30. The filling was quite deep and I got two needles with anesthetics. I have very low tolerance to pain, but the dentist was very professional and talked me through it, very calmly. My wife was also very happy with her treatment. Excellent. The facade is quite hidden, just beside a pharmacy. Inside it was nice and clean with very professional staff. There's clean restroom and waiting room with tv and english magazines/newspapers.

Fortedent Dental Clinic

2778 1850 ext: 33743 Tigne Seafront, Sliema, SLM 3012
Rating from 31 Reviews I was so gratefulMarian, Tralee, 01 Nov 13

See above I was very pleased. I needed to have my crown fixed as it became loose while I was on holiday in Malta. I had an appointment with my own dentist in Ireland to have a new crown fitted after my holiday. The original crown kept getting loose and I had paid to have it fixed so many times in the last 2 years I could have had a new crown fitted. However, having had two x-rays on my gums, Robert discovered that the root of the tooth was too decayed to take a new crown, and this was the reason why it kept getting loose. I had never been told this back in Ireland and would have paid for a new crown when I returned home. Robert & Justin advised that I should start making plans for an implant as soon as possible, but Robert secured my crown to last during my holidays and for this I was so grateful. I also had fillings done. I received excellent care and the price was much cheaper than Ireland. Robert was very friendly and so efficient and everything was explained to me as he carried out the treatment. I only wish they that the clinic was closer to home. The x-rays, fillings, the taking out of the crown and resetting and a general examination of all of my teeth only cost me €165. Within the past 3 months I had paid my own dentist in Ireland €300 just to reset my crown when it was last loose. I am presently considering flying to Malta to have my gum implant done, but it will require two visits. I would advise anyone visiting Malta to visit Fortedent Dental Clinic as the treatment there is excellent and affordable.

So satisfiedJohn, qawra, 28 Oct 13

The treatment was extremely good. The outcome of which I am so satisfied. I was charged the price quoted to me. Brilliant.

The Dental and Implantology Unit at Saint James Hospital

2778 1850 ext: 24839 Dental & Implantology Unit at Saint James Hospital, George Borg Olivier Street, Silema, SLM 1807
Rating from 22 Reviews I needed extensive dental work as my teeth were failingSusan, Malta, 03 Dec 15

As an older person, I recently reached the stage where I needed extensive dental work as my teeth were failing and my severe gag reflex rendered dentures of any kind impossible. A comprehensive treatment plan was drawn up and carefully discussed with me before going ahead. This required the extraction of several teeth, initially planned for five but I believe there were more. I had approximately six implants in my upper jaw and three in the lower jaw. But the crowning glory (no pun intended) was the bridge work for the upper jaw. This is of the highest standard, and great care was taken to ensure a good colour match with what is left of my own teeth. It looks completely natural and I am not sure that anyone would be aware of how much effort and expertise went into reaching this stage. I would have really hated one of those bright white bridges that you see too often! This was expensive treatment, but I view it as investment for life. The implants and bridge fitted have a projected life, with good care and hygiene, of 15-20 years although the bridge may need changing after 10-15 years due to wear. I would find it hard to recommend the work of this clinic highly enough. I am a very difficult dental patient as I have a severe gag reflex, which makes almost all treatment impossible without sedation. This in turn led me to being very nervous of visits to the dentist. The care, consideration and encouragement of the professional staff here has brought me to a stage where I am comfortable entering the dental surgery - a simple visit that previously would have left me in a state of near collapse. Obviously this amount of work took a fair amount of time, and I always received what I consider to be the highest standards of care and courtesy. Everyone from the Receptionists, through the very lovely dental nurses to Mark and Susanna Diacono and the various anaesthetists were outstanding. Quite apart from the care at the time of the appointments, I appreciated the follow up phone calls to ensure that I was OK and recovering well. If you are a nervous patient, have a sensitive gag reflex or require any kind of dental work, but especially the extensive type of treatment I have had, I strongly recommend you visit the Dental and Implantology Unit; I am confident that you will receive the same world-class treatment I have.
