How long does recovery take after receiving a treatment for Bad Breath?

The recovery from halitosis depends on the cause and method used to treat bad breath. Some patients feel pain or sensitivity after professional dental cleaning but should recover within a day.  Patients may take a week or two to recover from gum surgery. Patients with halitosis caused by smoking will recover a few weeks after ceasing smoking.

After the initial checkup, the entire dental treatment sequence was explained to me in detail. Scalings, Extractions, Filings etc etc were all accomplished perfectly (and without any pain).
