If you want expert dental care for a very reasonable price from a very experienced dentist who speaks good English, who will prioritise you and genuinely care about your well-being then Dr Tuyen from the Golden Smile Dental Office is an excellent choice. Dr Tuyen carried out significant restorative work to my teeth. This included 5 crowns with root canal therapy, a wisdom tooth extraction, the replacement of my very old fillings and some additional work to address tooth sensitivity (fillings to the tooth areas which had become exposed due to receding gums). The cost of this work was very reasonable and was at the cheaper end of the quotes I obtained from other clinics in Saigon. Dr Tuyen gave me the pricing upfront and there were no hidden costs or unexpected extras. I estimate it cost 80% less than it would have cost in Australia. It was also significantly cheaper than all of the quotes I obtained from clinics in Thailand. She did not try to drum-up any extra business. She also let me know when she thought that certain items which I had requested in my treatment plan were not essential or could be left until a later time (in case I wanted to reduce the cost). She is very honest and has integrity. All of this work was carried out by Dr Tuyen herself and was carried out to a very high standard. I am extremely satisfied and happy with the work she did. My decision to choose Dr Tuyen to do my dental work was 100% the right choice. While there were some moments of discomfort during some of the procedures (as to be expected), overall it was not a painful experience. I was very pleasantly surprised at how little pain/discomfort there was. Dr Tuyen was always mindful of my comfort and took appropriate action to address this. Her expertise kept any discomfort/pain to a minimum. To my surprise and relief, there was very little residual discomfort after each treatment day. While there are many clinics in Vietnam doing dental work for foreigners, Dr Tuyen is not the same as the others. While it might be enticing to choose one of the larger, flashy, glossy clinics, these clinics would be a very different experience to Dr Tuyen. Many of these clinics are large operations that will have many staff carrying out the work and they will be servicing many patients each day. With Dr Tuyen, you can be assured that she will do all of the work herself – a highly experienced dentist with over 20 years of experience. You will be her main priority each day. It felt like Dr Tuyen was my own personal dentist and I felt very well looked after. As many reviews have noted, another reason why Dr Tuyen stands out from the rest is she is a very special person. She is warm, kind and caring. Throughout my 10 days of treatment with Dr Tuyen, it was clear that she genuinely loves her work and gets great satisfaction from helping people. Over the years I have employed many people and that experience taught me that the best people always had the “care-factor” – a genuine care about the quality of their work which comes from within. Each night Dr Tuyen would message me to see how I was and to check if I was having any discomfort or issues. Another example, is she would take multiple x-rays during my root canal treatments to ensure the penetration/depth of the treatment was just right to maximise the outcome. Similarly, with my crowns, she took the time and care to ensure that the bite contact points between my upper & lower teeth were even and optimal. Another difference with Dr Tuyen is her clinic is located in her home which helps her keep her fees at the low end of the spectrum - despite her being a highly experienced dentist. Her clinic is located about 4km from the centre of District 1. It was very easy to get to/from her clinic each day using the Grab or Xanh SM taxi apps. I was staying in the heart of the Pham Ngu Lao district and a motorbike taxi typically cost only US$1-2 (a taxi car cost US$3-5). I was happy to organise my transport myself but Dr Tuyen did offer to arrange it for me. There are also two local buses that run from near her clinic to the heart of District 1 (buses 13 and 65 which come every 10 minutes and which cost only US$0.30). While going to a clinic in District 1 may be a little more convenient if you are staying in the tourist areas in District 1, you would miss out on the expert personal care that Dr Tuyen will give you. You will also miss the experience of getting out of the tourist area and into the real Saigon. Each morning there is a local street market that operates along the road to Dr Tuyen’s clinic. I chose to walk down it each morning as I loved the authenticity of this experience. Walking through the local market was my favourite part of my entire stay in Saigon. Before going to Vietnam, I was nervous about getting my dental work done there. I was worried that the dental work might be inferior to that in Australia and I was concerned about choosing the right clinic and worried that the end-price would end up being significantly higher than initially quoted/indicated. With Dr Tuyen, the work will be carried out to a high standard (by her) and you can be reassured that there will not be hidden costs or unexpected surprises. When she sees your teeth in person, she might recommend some changes to the initial treatment plan – but this will be on the basis of sound dental advice (and because it is in your best interest) – not because she is trying to push you into more expensive or unnecessary treatments. In my case, for one of my teeth she was able to implement a crown instead of the proposed extraction and implant. I much preferred this solution and it resulted in a significant reduction in the treatment cost for that tooth. As for the crowns used, Dr Tuyen can offer you a range of choices. I chose to pay a bit extra for the highly reputable Lava Plus Zirconia crowns which came with a 15-year warranty. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Tuyen and the Golden Smile Dental Office. My decision to choose Dr Tuyen was definitely the right choice.

Absolutely incredible dental experience! I recently had crowns, root canals and fillings done at Fami Dental in Ho Chi Minh City, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results. From arriving as an anxious dental phobic. I cannot believe that I had my whole mouth transformed into a truly stunning set of teeth. all the 3 lady doctors dr. N Dr S and Dr K they perform dentistry and take it almost to an art form. I had a lot of work done and felt virtually no pain. When analgesia needed the injections were about as pain free aa you can get. The doctors are supported by a fabulous front-of-house staff who are all charming and helpful and always kind Dinesh, Deepali, Melina and Mohana I truly thank you all. Dentally gave me one of the best dental experiences I have had till date. The doctors and the staff were very helpful and are experts at what they do. They were available on call at all times for my questions. The clinic is top-notch and cleanliness and sterilization are the best I have ever seen. (October 2023) - An amazing Dentist I would just like to start by saying I am a very deep-thinking person, who did a lot a heap of research about all the things required, regarding where the best place was to get a good full smile makeover and any other dental work required for my wife (Sandra) would be. Having had dental work done in another couple of countries outside of our home country of West Australia in the past, (On a smaller scale than this.) When enquiring most just suggested getting dental veneers. (Which looked great, but I was not 100% sure about) which were reasonably expensive (But nothing like Australia's cost to have the work done). Having done all this I came across Dr Anika Arora's site from Aesthetic Smiles (From Mumbai India). I must admit I was unsure at first about visiting India, but I can definitely assure you now that we have been, it was a very worthwhile trip. I made an enquiry on the net via her page, and within 20 minutes she had rung us, and I was talking to her about what my enquiry. (Once again thinking this is too good to be true). Dr Arika asked for a panoramic scan of my wife's teeth, which we obtained and emailed over, and she sent us her recommendations and a quote to have the work done. (Which was very reasonable, cost wise) A big difference to having the work done in Australia, and a holiday at the same time. Over the next few weeks, I had asked her a lot of questions and she continued to communicate with me and answered them all. (Probably far more than the normal person would) Anyway, without out going any further into this, I finally took the risk and made the appointment based on her recommendations, booked our flights, and committed ourselves to go to India, for a full smile makeover for my wife (Sandra). Dr Ratika arranged and paid for all the airport transfers to and from the airport, all pickups from our accommodation to her clinic and return for every appointment. She suggested a good place to use for accommodation, and we enjoyed our stay there as well. My wife had an overcrowded mouth and teeth out of line, so on our first visit she assessed all this and then she viewed all the images that were done using the latest 3D technology in her clinic and spoke with us about her proposed dental work, she would do, to give Sandra a good smile makeover. I have to say that I was very impressed about how she explained it all. She explained what she thought needed to be done, why it should be done this way and how she would go about it. She did not proceed with anything until we were sure we understood exactly what the expected outcomes should be. Sandra is now a changed person, that is now confident to smile and show her teeth, and she can also chew and use all her teeth, which is something she has not been able to do for many years. She had 19 zirconia crowns, 2 teeth extractions, and a root canal done on one of her major teeth. (No more unsightly amalgam type fillings can be seen) I had a root canal done, 2 dental crowns and a bridge to replace a missing molar I had. All X-rays and scale and clean were included in the price. All of this work was done to a very high standard by Dr Arika, and I can definitely recommend her as a professional dentist, who took pride in her work. Her clinic was clean, dental tools were all sterilised and all her staff were very friendly and would assist us to the fullest. Besides the dental work Dr Arika went out of her way to assist us with any query we had, she would assist with money conversations we required also. Thank you Dr Arika and all your staff and team of professionals, for undertaking the work you did, which I would also like to say cost us a less than what was quoted first up. I think this clinic and Dr. Seo are the best thing that happened to me in Korea, and probably the highest level of professionalism that I've experienced so far with dentists. I have many things to fix, and therefore I was selecting a dental clinic very carefully, sending requests, verifying reviews, etc. This clinic fully meets my expectations. But the most important is that I can fully trust my doctor, and that doesn't happen so often with me in Europe.

I was visiting Chennai for work for a week and I had some major dental issues to fix. Within the span of a week, Dr Vivek and his team managed to sort out all my requests with the utmost professional approach, kindness and attention. They even followed up for weeks after I left. I came from Canada for a tooth implant treatment, the reason I chose this place was this doctor responded and explained everything cost and duration, it’s worth every penny. I have read negative things about tooth implants in foreign countries swollen face, antibiotics and pain (YouTube) I didn’t take a single painkiller. Same day I arrived treatment started on Sunday second appointment on Thursday it was done. Friendly staff, I am 70 if I could handle anyone can.

I had one of the best experiences of my life. From the moment I arrived at Bangkok airport, a driver meets you with a big sign with my name on it in the meet & greet area. The apartment is luxurious & complimentary with dental treatment. Amazing view of Bangkok on the 24th floor. Other patients from the dentist on the same floor so you met people as well. Dental work was basically pain-free, amazing, caring dental team that made sure I was totally comfortable every 5 minutes. I got 20 Porcelain Crowns & 4 fillings. That came to $15,700 Australian dollars. All done in a total of 7 days as they have lab on site. I couldn't recommend them enough. Thank you team for changing my life 🙌

A 5-star rating from me. Not for myself but for my wife and son. I picked this clinic after reading reviews on the internet with mostly favourable comments. The first option on the first visit was how friendly and capable everyone seemed. After multiple fillings root canals and a few extractions and braces fitted for the boy I was more than happy as were they. I normally get my dental work done in Bangkok but if I need any personal dental I will get it done at Pagna in future. Pricing seems reasonable for their work. I came here to resolve my dental problems, some missing teet. Dr. Rohan was recommended by a friend. I came here in full faith. We came to the conclusion on having basal implants on the upper jaw and two bridges on the lower jaw. Against all odds considering my medical history, we were worried that at the age if 68 years I am taking this big step. Dr. Rohan put me at ease and it has been an amazing journey.
