I don’t typically leave reviews but Dr. SEN earned the time it takes to write a proper review. I have researched this procedure for years and understand that reviews and pictures play a big part in receiving business but most importantly, guide patients to the best surgeon possible. As I stated I researched for many years but was more happy with my appearance than what many surgeons appeared they could do for me. It seemed many were general plastic surgeons without the expertise of vulva anatomy. Even many gynaecologists who perform labiaplasty did not present pictures which reflected a full understanding or proper/tailored techniques for the vast variety of vulvas. Day of my consultation I booked my surgery for labiaplasty and reduction of prepuce. Though I had scoured every inch of his website and didn’t need it Dr Mehmet gave me the full run down and all my questions were answered. He was even able to position my labia to show me what would look like using my natural edge. I didn’t need to see or speak to any other surgeon. The decision was a no-brainer. The morning of surgery was a breeze as the surgery centre was amazing. I appreciated being sedated for the procedure as it does take time. I don’t think anyone should be awake for this. If this is the case I would question the dr you have chosen. Recovery for the first week was a 4 on a scale of 1-10. I'd say it was more uncomfortable and time-consuming to care for the incisions as your pain is managed by medication. Ice packs were my best friend for about 4 weeks. I was tired the first week as well. The second week was very itchy but less painful. Suture removal was not fun but a HUGE relief. After they were removed it was smooth sailing and pain/discomfort had disappeared for the most part. I just had my 6 week appointment and everything is perfect. My confidence and sex drive have skyrocketed. I don’t feel I need to hide or adjust my labia from my husband anymore. I want to be seen. I just have to say Dr Mehmet Bekir SEN is the only man for the job and should be the #1 surgeon listed for labiaplasty. All other surgeons should be trained or his methods should be standard practice worldwide. I hope any woman making this choice finds this review. Thank you Dr Mehmet Bekir SEN. You changed my life.

After having a gastric band fitted ten years ago it became very uncomfortable and I started gaining weight. Wonderful doctor! Took the flight from Sweden because I didn't get that operation from them, but that doctor did it so nicely. Cares about you as a patient. Make sure you get all the right information and do a thorough examination before and after surgery. I had an isthmocele which he operated with laparoscopy and healing has gone beyond expectations. Had wanted to do a tubal reversal but my tubas were too short so the doctor checked but left them alone. Serious and very easy to talk to. You could ask about everything, Excellent English!
