Dr. İrem Yengel
Obstetrics, Gynecology, Infertility, and IVF Specialist
Founder of İrem Yengel’s Clinic
I’m Dr. İrem Yengel, and for over 20 years, I’ve been dedicated to supporting women through every stage of life, from pregnancy to reproductive health. My approach is all about combining medical expertise with genuine care—because I believe that every woman deserves a personalized experience when it comes to her health.
I was born on August 2, 1980, in Adana, where I grew up and completed my education. My journey into medicine started in 1998, when I entered Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine, my first choice. After graduating in 2004, I took a big step forward by ranking among the top 10 in Turkey’s TUS exam, which led me to start my residency at Adana Numune Training and Research Hospital’s Gynecology Department.
At Adana Numune, I was able to immerse myself in hands-on practice, knowing that the more cases you work on in a surgical specialty, the more you grow as a professional. That experience helped me become a more confident and skilled doctor. In 2009, I completed my specialization and moved on to Adana Maternity Hospital, one of the largest maternity centers in Turkey, where I worked until 2012. This is where I refined my skills in managing pregnancy, childbirth, and fertility treatments, and also in cosmetic gynecology.
Along the way, I pursued additional certifications, including the Ministry of Health’s Assisted Reproductive Techniques Certification, which covers both gynecology and obstetrics, as well as IVF laboratory practices.
In 2018, I had the privilege of working at Istanbul Memorial Şişli Hospital in their Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic, focusing on infertility and IVF treatments. That same year, I joined Medipol University as a faculty member, where I’ve had the opportunity to teach and mentor students in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
I’m also passionate about research. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute articles and experimental studies to both national and international medical journals, with the goal of advancing care and improving outcomes for patients like you.
