Before, during and after the procedure, I was informed in a clear, caring fashion as to exactly what was going to happen and found the whole experience to be extremely straight-forward and remarkably stress and pain-free. The Chiltern Medical Clinic at Goring on Thames was the fifth clinic that I had visited for a consultation and I knew within minutes of meeting Dr. Vlok and Gina that I wanted to have my treatment with them. They were direct, helpful, honest, kind, considerate and practical in all that they said and did. I received regular communication from Gina before the procedure and was helped in every possible way throughout and after the treatment.

I shopped around a bit before I decided to use The Cooden Medical Group for varicose veins treatment. I’m happy with the results and we’ll have my next follow-up in three weeks time. The first time I went to the clinic, it was a bit hard to find, but this is because I didn’t have an actual building number. I arrived late and in a great state. But they were very kind and tried to help me. The consultant was very good, but I didn’t feel like I could ask him questions. It was a little intimidating, but I think I was a bit over-awed. Other than this, he was very kind. He was very skilled at his job and this was the most important aspect for me. They gave me some advice regarding the pain. I had some Nurofen at home, so I used this. I don’t think I was sufficiently prepared and this is partly because my sister in Canada had the varicose treatment last year. She was able to drive herself home afterwards. I responded much differently and the after-effects were worse than expected. I think the clinic should let patients know that they might be very uncomfortable for a week afterwards. Things are fine now, though. I’m satisfied.

Cheek fillers on one side of my face was the answer. The consultation was not rushed, was very in depth and all my questions were answered with honesty and my worries put to rest. I was advised to have a different brand of filler as the results were immediate unlike the one I wanted originally. With my facial history it was agreed that it would be better to see what was happening while it was being done, rather than a few months after. I went back the following week for the treatment. Once again everything was discussed and agreed upon in an unhurried way and I was fully confident I had made the right choice. This was only confirmed after my treatment. I had been worried about having a false, rabbit cheeked look. I only needed one side of my face done and it has been matched up to the other side far better than I had dared hope. The touch of relaxant injectable in the nasal scar tissue has had an amazing effect. The scars have relaxed so much, compounded with both sides of my face looking fuller and even. I am over the moon. This clinic is not the cheapest I understand, but the experience and service far outweigh the extra few pounds paid and I will be going back and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. I am simply over the moon.
