Services and research to prevent and manage injuries caused to the trigeminal nerve is the focus of this research and resource centre located at the King’s College London Dental Institute located at Bessemer Road in London. These injuries are usually results of complications caused by injections and surgery around the orofacial region. The team aims to educate physicians and help them prevent injuries to the trigeminal nerve during surgical procedures and to offer emergency services on referrals by physicians. The team also helps patients with trigeminal nerve injuries by completely restoring their functions of speech, sleep, eating and drinking.
