He has helped me in so many ways to overcome my fears and complexes in relation to my teethCathJay, UK, 15 08 24

I went to see Dr Nikolaos Kasiteridis at Forest and Ray as I was having complex problems with some upper teeth, including a front tooth, a difficult situation for anyone! I am extremely grateful to Dr Nikolaos who was a marvel; he went the extra mile for me as a dentist who wants the best possible outcome for his patient’s health, at the same time incorporating high technical ability with cosmetic expertise. I can safely say that Dr Nikolaos excels in all these areas, his wealth of experience and long service to the practice speak for themselves, and he is a real professional. He digs deep to do the best he can with any of your dental problems. He has helped me in so many ways to overcome my fears and complexes in relation to my teeth. I’m aware that I can be a difficult and fussy patient to deal with and Dr Nikolaos has managed to help with my issues in a calm and professional manner. So, if you are thinking of a dentist who incorporates technical excellence with integrity, and also extremely importantly, a sympathetic response to difficulties that can seem overwhelming, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Nikolaos and his excellent team. You will find that all their suggestions for your treatment are based on a genuine desire to help you in every possible way, as I did!

Dental Crowns from £697
A dental crown is a dental restoration used to shield a damaged or decayed tooth. Crowns are custom-made to fit over the entire tooth, from the chewing surface to the gum line, and are designed to restore the tooth's shape, size, strength, and appearance.Dental crowns can be made from a variety of materials, including porcelain, ceramic, metal, and composite resin. Each material has its advantages and disadvantages, and the choice will depend on the patient's needs and preferences. This procedure involves several visits to the dentist. During the first visit, the dentist will prepare the tooth by removing a small amount of the outer tooth structure to make room for the crown. Impressions of the prepared tooth will then be taken and sent to a dental laboratory, where the crown will be fabricated. Once the crown is prepared, the dentist will check the fit and make any required adjustments before permanently cementing it into place. With proper care and maintenance, a dental crown can last many years, providing a strong and natural-looking restoration for the damaged tooth. Dental crowns are commonly used to: Protect a weak or decayed tooth from further damage. Restore a broken or worn-down tooth. Cover a dental implant. Improve the appearance of a misshapen or discolored tooth. Anchor a dental bridge. Protect a tooth after root canal therapy. Dental crowns can improve overall oral health, restore function, and enhance the appearance of the smile.

Dental Crowns £269 - £349
Porcelain is the traditional material used for new crowns. Though strong, porcelain is apt to chip or break. This is usually overcome by making new crowns from metal and then fusing porcelain to the outside. The metal provides the strength whilst the porcelain provides the outward appearance on a normal tooth. However, light can pass through a normal tooth but not the metal core which blocks it. Porcelain Fused to Metal (PFM) crowns are an affordable alternative to enhance functionality and aesthetic appearance. They may be preferred where teeth are not very visible when you smile.
Zirconia Crown from £349
Zirconium is remarkably robust and the material of choice for dental crowns. It is able to withstand the wear and tear of everyday use and yet has a translucency that is very similar to a natural tooth, making light reflect from a Zirconium crown in much the same way. This means that Zirconium will produce the best aesthetic effect, which is important if your new crowns are at the front and may be seen besides natural teeth. Zirconium is more expensive than traditional materials. t
