Removable Braces
Removable braces, or clear aligners, are orthodontic appliances the patient can remove. They are made of clear plastic and are custom-fit to the patient's teeth using advanced 3D scanning and modeling technology.Removable braces are designed to gradually shift the teeth into the desired position over time, much like traditional braces. However, unlike conventional braces, they do not use brackets and wires. Instead, the clear aligners are changed every few weeks to shift the teeth into the desired position gradually. Removable braces are a popular option for orthodontic treatment for several reasons: They are virtually invisible, making them a more aesthetically pleasing option than traditional braces. They are more comfortable than conventional braces because they do not have brackets and wires that can irritate the cheeks and lips. They are removable, meaning patients can continue to eat their favourite foods and maintain good oral hygiene by brushing and flossing normally. However, there may be better options than removable braces for everyone. They are generally most effective for treating mild to moderate cases of tooth misalignment. They may not be suitable for more complex orthodontic issues. Patients must also be committed to wearing their aligners as directed by their orthodontist, typically for 20-22 hours per day, to achieve the desired results.
Braces
Dental Artistry is well-known for our exceptional orthodontic treatments. We offer patients the latest selection of high-quality braces such as Lingual Braces (Win systems), Labial Braces, Ceramic Braces, Damon Advanced Bracket Systems. Fixed braces is a convenient solution for patients as it allows a continuous tooth straightening process. Your doctor is able to adjust your braces as regular as necessary. The fixed braces do not require patients to take them off, clean them and thus potentially wear their braces less than necessary. Having a variety of techniques and excellent know-how we are able to offer our patients the most suitable method to achieve their desired goal.
Adult Braces
Orthodontic braces are not just for children and teenagers. An increasing number of adults are seeking orthodontic treatment to improve their dental health, appearance, and self-confidence. Orthodontic braces for adults work the same way as braces for children and teenagers. It may require longer treatment times due to the natural changes in adult teeth and bones. Orthodontic braces for adults can correct a wide range of dental issues, including crooked teeth, crowded teeth, gaps between teeth, overbites, underbites, and crossbites. Furthermore, braces address problems with jaw alignment and alleviate discomfort or pain associated with these issues. Adults have several options for orthodontic braces, including traditional metal braces, ceramic braces, lingual braces (braces attached to the back of the teeth), and clear aligners (such as Invisalign or Spark Aligners). Your orthodontist can recommend the best option for your individual needs. Orthodontic treatment with braces for adults requires a commitment to good oral hygiene and regular visits to the orthodontist for adjustments. Adults who are considering orthodontic treatment should consult with an orthodontist to discuss their options and develop a treatment plan that works best for them.
Ceramic Braces
Aesthetic braces are used to correct biting disorders, close gaps between teeth, straighten crooked teeth (which will become easier to clean after the treatment), and improve your smile's appearance. There is no age limit for orthodontics: after the jaws have finished growing, the orthodontic treatment can guide your teeth to a more favorable position to reach the best functional and aesthetic results. If your orthodontic treatment at Forest and Ray cannot be supported by using aligners or if you would like to avoid the responsibility of having a removable appliance, aesthetic fixed braces may be the right choice for you. Advantages of aesthetic braces: tooth-colored, aesthetic, small brackets, comfortable to wear, and capable of correcting most orthodontic problems, just like metal braces. These appliances combine the effectiveness of traditional metal braces with the great advantage of a spotless look provided by clear brackets. They handle any problems that traditional fixed braces handle and are functionally the same. The only difference is that they are discreet, look smart, and are not associated with childhood. The white or transparent brackets blend into your natural tooth color perfectly, giving you the confidence to smile without anyone noticing you are wearing them.

I went to see Dr Nikolaos Kasiteridis at Forest and Ray as I was having complex problems with some upper teeth, including a front tooth, a difficult situation for anyone! I am extremely grateful to Dr Nikolaos who was a marvel; he went the extra mile for me as a dentist who wants the best possible outcome for his patient’s health, at the same time incorporating high technical ability with cosmetic expertise. I can safely say that Dr Nikolaos excels in all these areas, his wealth of experience and long service to the practice speak for themselves, and he is a real professional. Braces
Orthodontic braces are devices used in orthodontic treatment to straighten and align teeth, correct bite issues, and improve overall dental health. They consist of brackets, wires, and elastic bands that gradually work together to shift the teeth into the desired position over time.Brackets are small metal or ceramic pieces attached to the teeth using a unique adhesive. Wires are then threaded through the brackets and adjusted periodically to apply gentle pressure to the teeth, guiding them into the correct position. Elastic bands help the wires apply the necessary force to the teeth. Orthodontic braces can be made of different materials, including metal, ceramic, or plastic. They can also be customised with different colors and patterns to make them more personalized and fun for patients, especially children, and teenagers. Orthodontic treatment with braces typically lasts for several months to several years, depending on the severity of the dental issues being addressed. Patients must follow a strict oral hygiene routine and attend regular appointments with their orthodontist to ensure good progress and adjustments.

They are all so lovely and I feel great with my new teethAnnemarie, UK, 17 05 21

It has taken me a long time to write this review because I really want to do the practice and Dr Sadiq justice. Having Invisalign has literally changed my life and I couldn’t be more thankful. At the consultation, I remember crying because dentists usually make me really nervous. Dr Sadiq is the dentist who oversees all Invisalign treatment and did my consultation along with another man who doesn’t work at the practice anymore. They were so lovely and took their time to explain everything and make me feel less nervous and more confident about starting treatment. I think my consultation was about an hour. I was given all options and allowed to choose freely which type of brace I wanted, and not pushed to do any particular one. There are options for white braces which are metal wire ones but less visible. However, I chose Invisalign which are clear plastic retainers that are changed every week or two weeks and they can straighten your teeth just as good without being noticeable. They can be removed so you can eat whatever you want, but you need to wear them for 22 hours a day. They are very expensive but worth every penny because they improve your smile, give you back confidence and Dr Sadiq took a lot of time to make sure my teeth were perfect. He is always available to see you in emergencies, always friendly and non-judgemental. I had attachments fitted which are tooth-coloured bumps on your teeth that help to straighten them, which get removed at the end. These are visible but still less so than having metal wire braces. Following straightening, I saw a separate dentist who deals with the cosmetic side and does teeth whitening, ICON resin infiltration and composite bonding which are paid for on top of the retainer cost. ICON is where bright white patches are removed from the teeth to give an even colour and composite bonding is where teeth are built up with a fake material to improve the shape of certain teeth. I had composite bonding done on my incisor teeth. My only criticism would be that some of the cosmetic treatment was rushed and my desired effect on my lower teeth wasn’t achieved because there is still some discolouration after ICON. It was rushed at the end of an appointment, whereas my upper teeth came out perfect because a lot of time was spent on them and certain stains were gone over a few times. No needles, no tooth extractions, no pain. Only mild discomfort when you changesets to a new retainer because they feel tighter for a few days. Also, whitening feels awful, and I hated it but is only temporary and by choice. The cost of the retainers can be split across one or two years – I paid a deposit and then split the rest of the cost into £143 a month over two years which was affordable for me. My teeth took about 3 years to straighten because I didn’t comply with wearing the retainers very well. They were originally planned to take a year and a half I think. I wouldn’t hesitate to get treatment at this practice. They are all so lovely and I feel great with my new teeth.

The results are always just perfect and I always leave the clinic happy and full of confidenceZee, UK, 01 06 21

I love this place! The staff are extremely helpful, warm and friendly. Zainab and Ahmed are both perfectionists and enjoy what they do, the extra care they put into detail is perhaps what differentiates them from others. The results are always just perfect and I always leave the clinic happy and full of confidence. Definitely, my favourite place to be.

Ceramic Braces
If you would like straighter teeth but don’t like the idea of wearing traditional metal braces, consider this option.  Ceramic brackets are tooth coloured and far less noticeable than metal braces.  They provide an excellent alternative.
