I have been to Marie in Macroom Dental (Middle Square) twice to get extractions. I have never been to a better Dentist. She is so nice and an excellent Dentist. She has pulled 4 teeth for me. I have to say that I never even knew that she had the teeth out, she is such a expect and lovely and friendly with it. Very good with nervous patients like me. I have had no problems afterwards. I highly recommend her. The dental Nurse was lovely also. So friendly. You would never think you were at a Dentist there. If you haven't been there then please give it a try. I forgot to say that the receptionist is a lovely lady also.

Do you suffer from headaches, jaw pain, or suffer from teeth grinding? These are all symptoms that can be easily resolved at Noel Creaner’s surgery. Many patients come to us having suffered from headaches for years, taking pain killers with no lasting relief and not realising that the problem is dental in origin. Often many of these problems arise from irregularity of your bite which puts stress and tension in surrounding muscles. Your treatment may include simple bite adjustment or a night time acrylic splint, and in some cases you may need crowns and veneers to re-establish a new bite. Cost varies depending on number of treatments required.
Non-Surgical TMJ Treatment  
Root canals €280 - €480
The soft tissue at the core of a tooth is called the pulp, made up of nerve, blood vessels and other tissue. Patients normally refer to this as the “nerve”. The health of the pulp can be damaged by deep decay, fracture of the tooth or trauma or even wear and tear over many years. If it is damaged sufficiently it can become very painful or develop an abscess. At this stage only root canal treatment will save the tooth. Root canal treatment involves removing damaged or dead nerves and blood vessels in the root of the tooth and cleaning and disinfecting the roots. The space left is then filled with a material that seals the tooth and keeps it functioning as before. However in many cases the teeth are weakened because there is no longer a living “nerve” or pulp in them and a crown is often advised to protect the teeth.
