I attended Clonakilty Dental Centre for the last numbers of weeks. I received fantastic care and reassurance from Dr Lorraine Harte and team. I felt very comfortable and was so well looked after. I would highly recommend Dr Harte.

I've been to Dr Niall McCarthy's Dental practice many a time over the past number of years. One thing that stands out, is the professionalism, the staff are warm and caring always eager to help and chatty too, which puts your mind at ease, I've had many treatments and fillings and extractions, due to medicine and wear and tear on my teeth, I think of all the dental surgeons ive been with over the years, there is none other than Niall Mc Carthy which I put my complete trust and faith in, he is a miracle worker for sure, and has done some amazing work on my teeth, I've had small, medium, large fillings, and even some extractions, he even went the whole mile and rebuilt some teeth for me, which I didnt even know was possible, that man and his staff are gifted and ooze talent, so anyone reading this review, if your are looking or needing dental treatment, look no further, and to be honest the dental practice price list is good value too, you wont get the same value and expertize anywhere else for that sort of payment, I highly recommend Dr Niall Mc Carthy and his practice to anyone, anyone that knows me well, its the god honest truth.

I had two molars extracted. The procedure was efficient, quick and easy. Dr. Harte works in a pleasant, relaxing environment. I am very grateful to him. I am an Irish medical card patient which means this treatment was free.

I've visited Dr John Kane at Village Dental practice twice now - in February 2021 as an emergency dental appointment and then just yesterday as another emergency dental appointment. I'm a very nervous patient (despite having had plenty of dental work done over the years as a child to reduce overcrowding, etc) and both the receptionist on the phone at time of booking and arriving at the clinic, as well as the lovely dental nurses on both occasions and of course Dr John Kane, put me more at ease and were all very understanding of how I was feeling. Dr Kane took the time to explain the checks he was going to do, was very gentle and took his time about completing them and explained the X Ray thoroughly. Granted, I didn't have to have any work done on either occasion (sinus issues causing discomfort and pain in lower fully erupted wisdom tooth), but I know if I have to book a further appointment at any point in the future, it'll be Dr Kane that I'll be returning to. The chat at the end of the appointment about his own experience as a nervous patient before starting his training, was reassuring and the clinic appearance and smell etc was definitely more updated and comfortable than my childhood memories. I just need to rebook now for a scale and polish and get comfortable with returning to him on a regular basis!! Would definitely recommend Village Dental Clinic, especially for nervous patients that need that extra reassurance!

I was in Ireland recently visiting family and had a dental emergency when one of my caps cracked and fell out. Dr. Tom fit me in that evening and in 20 minutes had put two pins in my mouth and restored the cap. It was painless and fast. I would highly recommend this dental office and Dr. Tom. BTW I am home in the United States and the cap is still holding!
