After a lifetime of dental neglect all because of a gagging problem anything that involved doing work inside my mouth was difficult. (sometimes even brushing my teeth). Finally picking up the courage to make an appointment with the Gate Clinic I have to say all my nightmares are over. A friendly and sympathetic welcome from the start, from Claire at reception to the expert care by Brian Delgado who sedated me for my first session, everybody greets you with a friendly smile. This was followed by several visits under the care of Pedro an absolute expert where implants are concerned and nurse Patricia who was so encouraging and kind. I now have a perfect lower set of teeth mounted on 4 implants with which I can eat anything once again. Thanks especially to Pedro and Patricia without who's kindness, encouragement and care made the whole experience so pleasant.

I had the worst set of teeth I had seen. I was searching for a solution for ages. I visited three other reputable practices and spoke to their dentists. They were unsure what to do. Their computers didn’t work. I trusted non of them. Then I walked into Maxillo in Dundalk. It was lovely and clean. The people were very professional all their computer’s worked and other machines worked. They gave me two options. I went for implants. The work was carried out professionally and beautifully. Very impressed. Ten stars rating for this practice.

Absolutely incredible dental care experience from Dr Colbert today. It felt as if my humble tooth was being aesthetically attended to by the hands of a friendly, medically expert, enormously experienced and caring fine artist…( the treatment involved the bonding of a veneer onto a horrid exposed root on a tooth whose lifespan we wish to extend as much as possible). I massively appreciated the high level of communication and explanation throughout every aspect of this and other recent treatments. I consider myself blessed to have my pearly whites in Dr Colbert’s care, particularly in relation to her observations of and sensitivity to my own personal needs. Beautiful and calming clinic. Since 2019 I have been interacting with the specialist staff at Number 16 Periodontics. The attention to detail, advice and expertise I have encountered is comforting and more importantly highly effective! First from meeting Suzanne and Alix at reception and scheduling you know you are in good hands! I had an upper bridge with porcelain veneers and lower composites fitted. For special mention is prosthodontist Dr. Rebecca Carville, a true professional who gives evidence based advice and then is a calming presence as she goes about her work creating or improving your smile! Nurse Myles is Rebecca's right hand person and together they make a very efficient team. I have no hesitation in recommending all the personnel at Number 16. Excellence personified!
