After a lot of research, I decided to make an appointment at Shields Dental. I needed a few crowns and a bridge. I was so impressed with their website that I made the decision to travel a two-hour journey and have a chat about what I wanted. Having had many traumatic experiences as a child, Ligia and her team, Gabrielle, Ger and Linda, have been second to none in terms of patience, kindness and skill. From today's session for a 6-monthly clean to fillings and tooth removal, I have been treated with patience, understanding and respect, and while I am not the perfectly, totally calm patient I might like to be, I find myself relaxing more each visit with the patience and understanding I experience.

Absolutely incredible dental care experience from Dr Colbert today. It felt as if my humble tooth was being aesthetically attended to by the hands of a friendly, medically expert, enormously experienced and caring fine artist…( the treatment involved the bonding of a veneer onto a horrid exposed root on a tooth whose lifespan we wish to extend as much as possible). I massively appreciated the high level of communication and explanation throughout every aspect of this and other recent treatments. I consider myself blessed to have my pearly whites in Dr Colbert’s care, particularly in relation to her observations of and sensitivity to my own personal needs. Beautiful and calming clinic.
