I've been attending Flynns Dental Care regularly over the years and found the experience very positive. I recently had a root canal treatment, I was very anxious about it but I need not have worried as the dental surgeon and endodontist Dr Alarcon explained everything to me in a professional & courteous way. The procedure was done very quickly and gave me instant relief from the severe pain I had leading up to the treatment. As a person who has a HUGE fear of the dentist, Friel couldn't have treated me better. I had to have an emergency molar extraction and she was so lovely and understanding of my fear. She talked me through everything. After a few days I had dry socket, and I called the surgery. Friel called me back and prescribed me antibiotics. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend Friel as a dentist 100%. It was more of an expensive appointment as it was a bank holiday Monday and an emergency appointment, but worth every cent.
I've been attending this practice for many years. I have always been happy with their services for both regular and emergency appointments. Their reception staff are welcoming and the new premises are lovely and in a great location. The upstairs surgeries are light and bright with views of trees which are very calming when sitting in the dentist's chair. On reviewing clinics and dental surgeons to remove some wisdom teeth for me, I read many bad reviews about Central Dental Clinic in Lucan and I was nearly actually going to cancel my appointment but I am genuinely glad that I chose to make a decision based on my own experiences. Please ignore anything you read about this place being dirty and grotty with old sofas - this is completely false - it is a very welcoming clinic, with high-tech machinery and with very warm and welcoming staff - I was very at ease and the surgeon who removed my wisdom teeth, along with the dental nurse who completely made me feel very at ease, explained everything in detail to me and constantly checked on me throughout the whole procedure. I need to return for further work and I have no hesitation in doing so.
