I had intensive treatment performed by Adam after damage done to my upper teeth and gums/bone by a previous dentist. A sinus lift, bone graft, implants and crowns. All done without a sedative - only the usual injections in the mouth. (You can choose to have a sedative of course). I felt absolutely no pain during the many procedures over several months. After each operation I did exactly what Adam advised in regards to pain management. Again, I was pain free 24/7. All treatments were successful with no infection present. I am thrilled to bits with the results - I never have to think about them in anyway. I use a waterpic water flosser and clean my teeth twice a day. It's nearly 3 years later, I have my regular check ups and clean; no treatments/fillings required since! Superb attention to detail from Adam and great assistance from his team. Two dentists in Canada recommended dental implants in place of my lower teeth. I was on vacation in Costa Rica and decided to get another opinion. I first approached another dentist in Coco but was turned off by his manner. I then sent my file to Dr. Ballestero. From that moment it was clear that Dr. B was different! He phoned me in Canada to discuss the recommendations and ultimately he recommended I do not go the full implant route. Not only was the cost less than 1/4 of the quotes I received in Canada - but the time, and care, and concern were far superior to what I had been receiving or have ever received from a dentist. I had the work done in March 2018 and the experience was amazing. Dr. Ballestero's professionalism coupled with his caring manner are unmatched.
