Had a very straightforward check-up and cleaning here today. Such a lovely experience, a relaxed happy team and I never felt rushed which is so unusual now when seeing a doctor or dentist. I asked lots of questions about how they work and Caoimhín answered everything so frankly and honestly. Hoping I don't need to go back too often, but I won't be concerned if I do need to!

Outstanding dentist, I have had implant and root canal along with other work done here. I dread other dentists and highly recommend Nicholas and his team. Coincidentally happens to be the best value by quite a margin too.

I just wanted to thank to Dr Chris for his excellent work on my very complicated set of teeth. I had a denture very wavy and uneven made somewhere else before and I could never use it, giving me trouble eating and chewing anything. I was very upset because if it when I finally found Shields Dental Clinic accidentally online. Dr Chris offered me to refurbish this existing but not working denture. He went up and down, sacrificed his own time to make sure that it will be perfect for me. He actually made gold from nothing and now it fits so well that I keep forgetting that it is not my own. I am so happy I found this clinic and I would not change it for any other ones. All staff members are very kind and professional and I know that I am in the best hands. I began treatment in 2013 with Dr Mairtin Brennan. There were many visits and detailed examinations before the surgery began. Because of the loss of bone, I required a bone graft. Like another patient said this is a very involved process and very difficult work. It has to be so precise. I got 5 implants. They have created perfect stability and what Dr Brennan said was that one of his chief objectives was to create space in my mouth. This was done to great effect. I am not aware that the implants are there. It was worth all the measurements that had to be done. Everything has to be checked several times but it was worth it all in the end. A bone graft is heavy going but once it settled down I forgot about the process. I would highly recommend Dr Brennan and would advise anyone to pay him at least a visit. Investing in my teeth was one of the best decisions I ever made. Seven years of enjoying eating better, more confidence, and compared to what I had it was like going from a mini to a Rolls Royce.
