Could not recommend enough to anyone dealing with anything similarPadraig, Ireland, 21 06 23

I had been suffering from anxiety and anger issues due to years of swallowing emotions. Martina provided a safe and trusting space that helped me work through this. I felt at ease with her from day one and she was very patient with helping me open up and deal with my issues. It was a lot of work but I am in a much better place now thanks to Martina and the work that we put in. Could not recommend enough to anyone dealing with anything similar or feeling like everything is piling on top of them.

I really do mean she is worth investing inEmily, Ireland, 17 11 20

Olivia is the best-skilled practitioner I have come across for counselling over the years. I came to her when I had a crisis in my life but I also had other issues that needed attention and help. Olivia was boundaries and calm and was very empathetic and understanding. I really cannot recommend her enough and I always felt so relieved and revitalised when leaving a session. I really do mean she is worth investing in.

Anne-Louise Foley Counselling at The Healing House

The Healing House, 24 O'Connell Avenue, Berkeley Road, Dublin 7
I'm currently offering both face to face* and also online counselling. If you're feeling stuck in your life, or anxious, stressed, or depressed, counselling can help. I believe that you have the resources within yourself to find answers and resolve your difficulties, but may need a bit of help on this journey.  I work in an integrative way, meaning that I will use elements from different areas of psychotherapy in order to help you develop a stronger and healthier sense of yourself. It is helpful to gain some insight into the cause of the problem, and then work together with you on finding ways forward.  I hold a BA (hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy from ICHAS (the Irish College of Humanities & Applied Sciences) and am an accredited member of the APCP and also a registered member of the BACP. I have experience and knowledge in trauma and have trained in EMDR and am currently training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, a body-focused treatment for trauma.  Most recently I have trained in couples co)unselling and am now seeing couples. Please contact me for further information if this is a service you require. *I see clients primarily at the Healing House in Phibsboro but am also based at Willow Tree Clontarf (on Friday mornings)

I provide a strictly confidential non judgmental environment and work from an integrated Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) perspective.Counselors work in different ways and can have training in different areas and theories so it is important to find the right counselor to suit you. Before choosing a counselor It can be helpful to have an initial phone conversation with a few counselors to get a sense of how they work, and discuss any concerns you may have. I am happy to talk to you on the phone, without any commitment on your part.
CBT - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy €60
CBT is a scientifically validated  approach based on the idea that what we think, how we feel, how we act and what goes on in our bodies all interact together. Specifically our thoughts and how they affect our feelings and behaviour
Anger Management €60
Anger is a feeling that we all experience, an emotion which is neither good or bad, it is what you do with that anger that counts.  If you are unable to express your anger in a healthy way it can lead to problems in your life. Kinship - Psychotherapy Clinic in Ireland

Kinship

13 Pembroke Street Lower,, Dublin 2
Kinship provides a safe, confidential space where difficulties can be explored in the presence of another—one who offers support and space as you work to become more of your authentic self.Areas of focus include: Depression, anxiety, stress, workplace performance, relationship challenges, transitions, chronic illness, trauma, sexuality, sexual abuse, finding meaning, and more. Some people may begin psychotherapy without a specific problem or issue, but instead with the intention of personal development and achieving their potential. At times we may feel confused, lost, overwhelmed, or dissatisfied for a time before we decide to seek help. It takes courage to ask for support. We encourage the development of effective problem-solving skills to help individuals reach their true potential and begin the process of self-awareness, acceptance, and change. We believe that no two people are exactly alike, which means treatments are tailored to the individual through a Humanistic Integrative Approach. Our therapists use evidence-based methods and are trained to a Master's level. We attend regular supervision in order maintain the highest standard of care.
