Anne works with clients on developing awareness and understanding of their experience at the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels, and of their relationships with themselves and others. She holds a therapeutic space that is safe, challenging and empowering. Anne encourages clients to develop a sense of their personal capacity for change and to move into a process of ongoing growth. Anne is committed to her own professional and personal growth, believing this is a necessary element in in her ability to create the therapeutic space where clients can engage with their therapy work. She is engaged in ongoing training, reflection and research in the field of counselling and psychotherapy. Anne holds honours degrees in Psychology, Counselling & Psychotherapy, and a Masters degree in Women's Studies. Anne's experience includes working with: binge eating, Anxiety, Bereavement, Body Image, Bullying, Depression, Isolation, Life Direction, Recovery from Addiction, Relationships, Self-Care, Self-Esteem and Empowerment , Stress, Suicidal thoughts and recovery from attempted suicide, Survivors of sexual, physical, emotional abuse.
