Rating from 7 Reviews I thought they were perfectDerek, Dundalk, 24 Jul 17

The Hypnotherapy appointment I had at the Wendy Quinn's Clinic went very well and I was quite happy with the appointment and procedure. She was very friendly, gave me quality service and gave me what I came for which was a good night's sleep. The clinic was very easy to find, the prices were not too high, the service and I got the treatment I needed to be able a good night's rest, so, all in all, I was very happy with the clinic, I thought they were perfect.

Dublin Psychotherapy - Psychology Clinic in Ireland

Dublin Psychotherapy

62 Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2, D2
Rating from 15 Reviews I found his approach very respectful and full of insight at the same timeDomenico, Dublin, 20 Sep 18

I've contacted Marcello after having closed a treatment with another psychotherapist during 2017. I found here a non-judgemental place where step by step I could open myself and explain the reason/s that brought me to ask his help. I found his approach very respectful and full of insight at the same time. This gave me the opportunity to understand better my behaviour, what beliefs were limiting my social and private life. Now after almost 8 months I feel more confident in taking actions, less strict with myself and more open to experimenting my personal way to achieve my potential. With the conviction that getting better is mainly a process than a result and even sometimes I don't get what I want. I may always enjoy my path towards this progress, being less self-critical than I was before. I choose Dublin Psychotherapy mainly because as Italian I was looking for the same mother-tongue therapist.

Reborn Dublin Psychotherapy

318 North Circular Road, Dublin 7, Dublin
Rating from 4 Reviews I've changed a lot of things in my life positively due to the therapistSarah, dublin, 04 Oct 18

I went to Renata for quite a while as I really struggled to make a change and to see things differently. I was gradually suffering from anxiety and depression that literally got completely out of hand due to life situations and I could no longer see clearly. It was time to do something and thank goodness I found Renata. She really is amazing, inspirational, and really changed my life with Cognitive behavioural therapy. I have come so far to the point my mindset is completely different and on how I view things in general. I've changed a lot of things in my life positively due to Renata.

Petra Kucan Psychologist

Rating from 9 Reviews I would definitely recommend Petra.Alexe, Ireland, 28 Apr 17

I went in therapy with her because I needed help to deal with my anxiety and to learn more about myself. After only 6 weeks of therapy with her, I don't have any anxiety symptoms, I'm feeling much better and I learnt a lot about myself! I'm very grateful! Petra is a very nice individual person, a good listener and adviser but more, she is a passionate therapist with real solutions. Many thanks Petra. I choose this clinic thanks to good reviews and experiences shared on Internet. I had a good first impression of the clinic and the room for the therapy is comfortable.

Drumcondra and Glasnevin Counselling Services - Psychotherapy Clinic in Ireland

Drumcondra and Glasnevin Counselling Services

Dublin North, Dublin Southside, Dublin
How Therapy Can HelpOur emotions dictate and determine how we see the world. When you have control over your emotions you have control over your behaviour. When we become anxious, distressed, depressed or living in fear, the rational part of our brain is suppressed and the emotional brain takes over. We become time travellers trapped in the past ruminating, worrying, restless and agitated, driving us to despair with guilt, shame, secrets and unresolved business.  Glimpses of the future may be glimpses of catastrophe, hopelessness and emptiness.  As your counsellor I am here to listen to you, to guide you and to bring to your awareness alternative ways of being in the world. Collaborative counselling can bring insight and access to your imagination and your own forgotten inner strengths. You can change your life trajectory. You can find your personal path and spread it with peace, well-being, balance and spiritual wholeness.
CBT and Depression €80 - €120
When we become anxious, depressed or living in fear, the rational part of our brain is suppressed and the emotional brain takes over. We become time travellers trapped in the past.   Time-travellers living in the past in a ruminating room. Worrying, restless and agitated, driving ourselves to dispair with guilt, shame, secrets and unresolved business.  Glimpses of the future can become images of catastrophe, hopelessness and emptiness.  When I think of the ‘Ruminating Room’ I put bars and chains on its door and visualize an adjoining room I call the ‘Reflection Room’. It is a safe place. A sanctuary. My private internal space where I can explore that which is bothering me. Here in this place I ask not who is, or was, to blame for my emotional distress. No, I ask only, what can I learn from these experiences. I become aware that I cannot change the past. Nor should I forget the past. I remind myself that – when I live in the past I forfeit the present –when I forget the past I risk similar fate in the future. So, I look to the future and ask ‘Where do I want to be in six months time?  . Now I bring myself into the present and ask myself ‘what do I have to do, here and now, to achieve my goal. To be myself. This is time-travel of the best kind. This is a spiritual journey with invited passengers only. This is Mindfulness.

What is Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT?)     Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is brief and time-limited. During the sessions you will learn how to become your own therapist. You will be given the tools to help you become your own person. To take charge of your life. To understand why you, and only you, have brought yourself to this place at this point in time. To accept that everyone is responsible for their own behaviour. To challenge your thoughts and beliefs and see how they shape your views and ultimately your experiences of the world as you perceive it to be. To quote Epictetus, "Men are not moved by things, but by the views which they take of them." In CBT I like to switch the phrase “I’ll believe it when I see it” to “I’ll see it when I believe it”.  This shift in perception raises our awareness. It is only when we have elevated a problem into our awareness and begin to see it in a different light that we can do something about it. We begin to realise and accept that we have choices. We can do something about the problem or do nothing. The choice is ours to take. The decision is ours to make. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy has proven worldwide to be effective in the treatment of many psychological disorders.

True Horizon

Rating from 8 Reviews Felt like I could really open up to herLouise, Ireland, 22 Jul 15

Received treatment for quite low self-esteem and issues around anxiety. I use to worry all the time about everything to do with both myself and others. I would recommend True Horizon to anyone. The counselling room was so bright and comfortable and the fee was also great value. Found my experience with Lisa to be invaluable and counselling has had a very positive impact on my life. She is a great listener and really makes you feel like you matter. There is no judgement and I felt like I could really open up to her and this helped me heal.

Building Bridges Counselling and Psychotherapy - Ballyfermot - General Practice in Ireland

Building Bridges Counselling and Psychotherapy - Ballyfermot

16 Clifden Terrace, Ballyfermot, Dublin 10
Making the decision to find a counsellor can be a difficult task, whether it is your first time or you are returning back to counselling. It can be a huge step in itself, as you may be experiencing a number of feelings, such as: what if I look silly, what if my problems seem unimportant or what if I don't know where to start? This is normal; honestly do not let this stop you. Please don't hesitate to call me and ask any questions, and then decide if you would like to come along to a free consultation? It's my belief that we all have our own answers to our difficulties and sometimes all we need is a safe place to explore our concerns. Also there are times when the ones closest to us aren't the best people to discuss our concerns, as our relationships with family and friends can often be the source of our distress. At Building Bridges I provide  a safe caring, non-judgemental and supportive space which allows people to explore issues within their life that are presently causing distress. Therapists use different approaches and interventions to suit the requirements of the client. The goal within the therapeutic relationship is help the client work towards making more positive choices.
