Premier Physical Therapy Clinic

I had three one hour treatment sessions with Garrett. He was mainly working on the sciatica issue that I've been having. It was excellent value for money and he really takes his time. I would certainly recommend him to friends and family. Garrett is an excellent therapist. I've had sciatica for a few years and after a few sessions with Garrett it had improved a lot. He lets you know what he is doing and why and is great at explaining how the body works and what is causing the problem(s). He also provides lots of useful information and exercises for aftercare.

City Wax

Rating from 2 Reviews Extremely pain free waxing experienceEls, Ireland, 22 Jul 15

Shelley at City Wax- a professional! Waxing & pain are usually associated together, but under her skilful hands you'll have a high quality, extremely pain free experience. Waxing couldn't get better than this. A bit of glamour, but not to much as not to make it inviting, clean, with top products and services. Therapists are helpful and friendly over the phone and always welcoming. Each treatment room is spacious and private. You're never rushed.

Very satisfiedSarah, Ireland, 18 Apr 14

I've been to this salon a few times and have been very satisfied, but I wanted to leave a review about my most recent experience in the hair salon of City Wax. I heard about their special offer training prices for hair extensions and said I would give them a ring for a consultation. Mary was extremely nice to me on the phone and arranged a time for my consultation and also booked me in on the Saturday for my appt, which I was surprised but delighted that I was given a Sat appt as it was training. Consultation went great with Kellie and when I arrived on sat for my appt I could not of felt more welcome by Mary, Kellie and Kris. Kellie and Kris worked on me for 2 hours, even though I was there to be trained on I felt they knew exactly what they were doing and went beyond the call of duty to make sure my hair was more than perfect. I'm a bit clueless when it comes to hair and not fussy, so they could of easily put in one colour/tone and I would of been just as happy, but I can't explain how thorough they were, often changing the tones to suit the diff shades of my hair as they went along. They were absolute perfectionists and I felt they were very passionate about getting my hair looking more than perfect. They seemed genuinely excited to see it when it was finished. Also at no point was I ever pressurized to buy any expensive aftercare products, which I was dreading the awkwardness of not being able to fork out extra for brushes shampoo conditioner etc, so I was relieved and they even suggested cheaper alternatives to purchase for the aftercare. Which was great. The salon itself is fab. Feels like you're backstage on the set of a Hollywood film being pampered. Sorry it's so long but really wanted to share my experience, esp as paying training prices I was not expecting to be so spoilt.

Roisin's NMT

FRating from 1 Review Great experience and good to know we have such a lovely therapist in our areaEvelyn, Ireland, 20 Sep 16

My son has an on-going groin injury that can flare up during his hurling matches. He had an important semi final last Saturday and was determined to play. Roisin agreed to tape up his leg/groin area so that it supported the muscles during the game. Even though they lost the match he managed to play the entire game pain free and he was thrilled with that. Thanks so much Roisin! Great experience and good to know we have such a lovely therapist in our area.

The Posture Studio

(01) 525 5342 ext: 26248 Adamstown, Enniscorthy, Wexford, Y21 W527
FRating from 1 Review I would have no hesitation in recommending The Posture StudioPat, Ireland, 24 Sep 16

As a sports person I highly recommend Rolfing as a treatment both for chronic pain and essential maintenance. Years of bike racing meant I suffered from numerous falls and crashes. These crashes often resulted in broken bones, soft tissue injuries etc. But with no rehab programme it was back on the bike and business as usual. Lately I began to experience low back and shoulder pain. Treatments included Osteopathy and Physiotherapy combined with anti inflammatories. Results were positive but short lived. I then visited Mary at her clinic. I was impressed by her knowledge, attention to detail and professional approach. She explained her treatment wasn't a one stop fix and I would require 10 to 12 sessions. To date I've received three and beginning to feel real changes especially in posture and core strength. There are real benefits to be gained from Rolfing and here in Wexford we are lucky to have Mary who who is a caring, professional and enthusiastic practitioner. I chose this clinc as I heard about the great work that Mary was doing especially in the treatment of chronic pain. I was impressed by Mary's professional and caring approach, her attention to detail and history taking. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Posture Studio to any of my cycling and swimming friends.

I went for a combination of deep tissue for a strain, but also wanted some relaxation. I found the location handy and the building is lovely and quiet, plus very clean. The massage was excellent. RELAXATION AND FOCUSOne of the most popular reasons to schedule a massage is to relieve the amount of tension and stress that one may feel. This includes athletes! Training is difficult and requires an enormous amount of dedication and hard work.By allowing the mind to relax and release inner tension, the body follows along.

Taragh Hanley Sports Massage and Physical Therapy

(01) 525 5342 ext: 28478 Woodstock, Greystones Kilcoole
0Benefits of Sports MassageAs a Sports Massage Therapist and Fitness instructor I aim to help alleviate any problems that the client may have through joined up thinking.Massage, applied skillfully, is the most effective therapy for releasing muscle tension and restoring balance to the musculoskeletal system. Received regularly this may help athletes prevent injuries, which might otherwise be caused by overuse. A constant build up of tension in the muscles from regular activity may lead to stresses on joints, ligaments, tendons, as well as the muscles themselves. These muscle imbalances may develop and often go undiagnosed until they are serious enough to cause the athlete discomfort or impede performance. The skilled massage therapist will be able to detect variations in the soft tissues and by using the correct techniques, help the person maintain a much healthier physical state. It may therefore be reasonably claimed that one of the greatest benefits of sports massage is in helping prevent injury.
