5 50 Massage • Paid: €65

I got an appointment very quick. They were very good. I would recommend. I had a tendon massage in my right leg which fixed it.

Could not recommend killtipper enough

5 50 Physiotherapist Consultation

Superb treatment from very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
I had two strokes and was told my arm would not get much better by hospital staff but within 3 or 4 appointments I had much better movement in it. This continued the more I went due to great motivation and home programme's form the physios. Could not recommend killtipper enough, even if you have been told by doctors that you can't get better.

Hydrotherapy - Kiltipper Woods Physio and Hydrotherapy Clinic

Hydrotherapy entails whole body exercises that take place in our state of the art 34°C warm water pool. The warm temperature of the water allows your muscles to relax and eases the pain and stiffness, making it easier to exercise. Hydrotherapy can relieve painful joints, increase the range of movement in your joints and improve your muscle strength. At Kiltipper Woods our hydrotherapy pool contains an underwater treadmill, resistance jets, and massage wand.

The power resistance jets provide resistance for a range of motion exercises, improving the patient’s cardiovascular stamina. The wand offers patients the ability to massage and loosen muscles. The pool is easily accessible to suit all patients and can be accessed by patients in wheelchairs. It is also important to note that you do not have to be able to swim to benefit from aquatic therapy. All our hydrotherapy sessions are conducted by chartered physiotherapists who are highly trained and experienced in hydrotherapy. Hydrotherapy sessions can take place in a group setting or on a one to one basis.

At Kiltipper Woods we use a Swimex 1000-T hydrotherapy pool that is fully equipped with laminar water current technology which your therapist uses to optimise the intensity of your workout. The pool also utilises an integrated underwater treadmill in tandem with the water current technology and is the only pool of its kind in Ireland.

Hydrotherapy is the safest and most progressive form of rehabilitation because it takes place in a gravity neutral environment, thus decreasing impact and trauma on weight bearing joints during rehabilitation. The simulated weightlessness allows treatment to begin earlier and more safely, thereby accelerating the healing process.

Our hydrotherapy programmes are conducted by chartered physiotherapists, who are highly trained in hydrotherapy. All programmes are specifically tailored to the needs of each individua

Sports Therapy

Sports rehabilitation is a physiotherapy approach to treat injuries sustained through athletic activity so the athlete can regain normal pain-free mobility. Our team consists of highly trained professionals who work with both professionals and amateurs. The primary goal of our physiotherapists is to return you to pre-injury activities.

Sports rehab often involves a stretching and exercise routine. Stretching assists the muscles shortened by injury or pain to regain its normal length to optimize pain-free motion. Exercise routines encompass strength, endurance, flexibility and balance to improve performance.

Our sports rehabilitation begins with the treatment of the acute injury and follows you through every step of recovery
from pain relief to optimizing muscle length to returning to pre-injury performance to injury prevention. Sports rehabilitation is a comprehensive rehab program that focuses on pain-free, effective, sports-specific motion.
