I felt better after the massage and it improved my postureDanielle, Dublin, 05 Mar 16

The treatment is great and the prices are amazing. The masseuse is consistent and so I've returned to this place many times. I recommend it for everyone. I felt better after the massage and it improved my posture. On certain days of the week there is a 1 hour massage available for only €35. The clinic is nice, clean and relaxing. The place is located in Deansgrange with parking directly outside. There is usually music playing during the massage and its always nice and warm. There is a lovely smell also.

Lymph drainage massage is a very light, slow, rhythmical massage. The intension is to stimulate the lymph vessels that runjust below the skin and in many cases attach to the skin. Lymph drainagemassage drains excess fluids from the tissues returning them to the circulatorysystem. This means lymph drainage massage can help in many cases of fluidretention, from pregnancy, to injury. The lymph system is also a vital part ofyour immune system, meaning lymph drainage massage can stimulate your immunesystem during and after times of illness. It’s important in immunity, inflammation and healingin general, so an efficient lymphatic system is going to help in manyareas.  Lymphatic drainage is a way toachieve that efficiency. Skin care: For a clearer complexion and to lessenthe appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in facial tissue, as well as reducingpuffiness around the eyes. Old scar tissue can be reduced while the appearanceof new scars can be minimized. It’s commonly used before and after cosmeticsurgery. Detox: At the end of winter, or after a period ofhigh stress, the body will really benefit from lymphatic drainage, to reducethe sluggishness brought on by too many starchy, high fat foods and too littleexercise. Headache: Most headaches including sinusitis have acomponent of congestion that responds well to  lymphatic drainage.   Once tissueis decongested, blocked fluid and blood flow improve, reducing pain anddiscomfort. Promote healing: After surgery or injury, the tissuemay be swollen and sore. Lymphatic drainage is a gentle treatment that willhelp drain the tissue, reduce inflammation and improve healing. Pregnancy and after: There is often fluid retentionin pregnant women and lymphatic drainage can improve comfort especially in legsand feet.  Breast feeding will beenhanced by this treatment, especially when there are problems with blockedducts and sore tight breasts. Reduce swelling:

MLD treatment A friend recommended this place as I had been suffering with back and neck pain for a while. After the assessment I had a treatment with MLD and it was really good! My neck felt great and it was really relaxing. Have no problem recommending this place and will definitely be back, just for the relaxing treatment, and the price was excellent too :)

I am going back for follow up treatments.Mary, castlebar, 18 May 14

Manual Lymph Drainage aims to redirect fluid from swollen areas to healthy lymphatic vessels, transporting it back to the normal circulatory system . With gentle, light but precise hand movements applied to the skin, the therapists exerts different intensities of pressure to increase the activity of normal lymphatic vessels. This encourages the fluid away from congested areas by bypassing ineffective or injured lymph vessels. The treatment is very gentle and a typical session will involve drainage of the neck, trunk, and the affected extremity (in that order), lasting approximately 40 to 60 minutes. The technique was pioneered by Doctor Emil Vodder in the 1930s

Very pleased with the treatments and price.

Price was as quotedLorna, Ireland, 14 Dec 13

Treatment was nice, felt great after it. Price was as quoted. The only criticism I have is that the therapist talked for the duration of the massage, which meant that I couldn't relax as much as I had hoped.

Rating from 6 Reviews Felt relaxed and well after my treatment.Guida, Dublin, 29 Jul 15

I suffered from depression for many years. He was approachable, explained everything that I asked, and the session was very straight forward. I felt relaxed and well afterward, and It has had a great impact on my life. I find Mr. Anders a very good professional, helpful, easy going, and most of everything, human and honest. I attended at Mr. Anders house. I was apprehensive, but afterward I thought it was as good as. The space is nice and relaxing, and I was back for a next session which felt as good. I will be back to tackle my next rock.

What Is Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (Dr. Vodder)? It is a specialised therapy, which is designed to improve the functioning of the lymphatic system. This is primarily achieved through gentle, rhythmical circling movements of the skin, which stimulate the contractions of the lymphatic vessels. Techniques are performed with hands and fingers using a light-touch, which is simulating, gentle, through a wave-like movement. The subtle manual manoeuvres activate lymph and interstitial fluid circulation as well as stimulate the functioning of the immune and parasympathetic nervous systems. A well-functioning lymph system contributes to healthy body tissue and plays an important part in the body's immune system. Who Can Benefit From Manual Lymphatic Drainage? Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage is recommended for pregnant women to help relieve puffy hands and legs, for sports injures such as sprains, fractures, etc., to help with slimming or cleansing diets, for people who suffer from chronic nasal congestion and much more. What Happens In A Treatment? Following an initial consultation where the therapist checks the client’s health and checks for any contraindications, the client will be left to get undressed in private. During the treatment the client will lie on a massage table or plinth and will be fully covered by towels, with only the body part being worked on at the time remaining exposed.

40 Minute treatment on a local area, 75 minutes for full body...  Lymph drainage is a light, slow, rhythmic massage, which follows the path of the lymphatic system of the body. It helps to eliminate toxins and is especially effective after a flu or virus when our immune system has been in overdrive.  If you suffer from sluggishness or puffiness esp in the ankles, Odema.   Sorry but we do NOT offer a Medical Drainage for patients with Lymphedema.
