Care Cure Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Galway

(091) 423 527 1 Rockfort house (Cross street from the city library), St. Augustine Street, Galway City, H91KHK2
Rating from 12 Reviews Acupuncture makes me feel like a new personCatherine, Ireland, 21 Jul 15

I attend Care Cure regularly for Acupuncture and Acupressure massage for management of back-mobility and pain caused by a car accident many years ago and attend every couple of weeks to ensure maximum mobility. Care Cure have been keeping me mobile and pain free for many years now. It saves me having to take harsh painkillers and I always walk out of there feeling as though I'm a completely new person. I can say without doubt that management of my permanent back issues is so much easier and less painful with regular acupuncture from the team at Care Cure.

Acupressure €10  -  €40
Acupressure is a good alternative for anyone suffering from a phobia of needles as it follows the same principle as acupuncture. It works by stimulating the same acupuncture points on the surface of the body but instead of using needles, the practitioner will apply pressure with the hands. Acupressure is an effective method of improving blood circulation and repairing tissue damage throughout the body. Via nerve stimulation acupressure can induce relaxation and improve skin tone, ease tension in muscles and joints, repair facial lymph damage and generally tone the body. For this reason it is often used as a facial beauty therapy. Acupressure has also seen considerable success in curing insomnia, lessening fatigue and dispelling back and joint pain.

Rating from 1 Review I felt relaxed from the moment I arrivedLaura, Wicklow, 20 Dec 16

I chose to come to this clinic as it's handy for me to get to and I know the area very well. The clinic itself is very good. Upon arriving at the clinic I was met at the door by a staff member. I felt relaxed from the moment I arrived. I came for a consultation and have since been back another time. I feel like I've received good value and the prices I was charged were the same prices I had seen online. A great experience overall

I chose this clinic as it was local to me and the first clinic that appeared when searching WhatClinic. The clinic itself was fine. The sports massage treatment I received was good value and what I expected to pay. It was only a one time appointment and I'm happy with my experience here.

Perrine de Montard Acupuncture

Rating from 5 Reviews Explained everything she was doing as she wentRowena, Ireland, 01 Mar 16

I had a wonderful treatment with Perrine, starting with the consultation, I found her very thorough and knowledgeable. I was nervous about the needles at first but was put at ease quickly and found the experience very relaxing. I not once felt like I was just another patient, Perrine made me feel she had all the time in the world to care for me. She was extremely attentive, checking that all needles were still doing their work. She also explained everything she was doing as she went, which I found was very interesting! Most importantly, I had a massive improvement of my ailments after the first treatment! I have recommended to friends and highly recommend Perrine for any ailments you might have! Overall a very clean, relaxing, professional environment. Good location too with plenty of parking. Again, I highly recommend Perrine and her practices.

She took a very thorough and in depth historyKaren, Ireland, 11 Mar 16

I have attended Perrine's Accupuncture clinic a number of times. I have a mild skin complaint- eczema and I was also receiving treatment for a painful wrist- which was the result of an old injury. I have had a number of treatments with Perrine. I found Perrine to be very friendly and calm in her approach as I was nervous prior to the first treatment- fear of needles. She took a very thorough and in depth history - and explained what was going to happen. She was very professional at all times. The treatment room was very clean and relaxing and I did not feel the time passing. I had relief from my symptoms and these continue to improve with each treatment. I would definately recommend Perrine and her clinic to family and friends and intend to coninue seeing her.

Physiotherapist / Physical Therapist Consultation I've had the most positive physiotherapy experience with Kathy. She spent a lot of time with me and gave me a lot of relief. I get muscular and nerve pain and was treated with muscle tissue release work and some spinal and pelvic manipulations. I've been to a lot of different places and this has definitely given me the best results.

Sports Injury Rehabilitation - Strapping and Taping, Whiplash I have had over the years many sports injuries, pregnancy related issues and reoccurring issues from a whip lash long ago. I have been treated by many physios in various countries but never had a physio like Kathy has who has been able to get to the source of the problem quickly and relieve me of acute and chronic pain and regain my normal mobility from complete immobility. She has been able to identify issues where I myself was not aware as I had grown so used to living with the pain. She not only tries to fix the issues but also fully explains with her extensive knowledge how and why they are occurring and how to avoid them in the future with few but effective exercises.

I used the clinic for an food allergy test. Received a quick response from the clinic for appointment. They cut a small piece of hair. It was sent off for analysis. I received a detailed feedback form 2 weeks later, it listed all foods to avoid. Prompt response after initial contact. Staff member rang to explain the process and cost to me. I was given an appointment time which suited and there were no delays. Very pleasant staff. Happy to recommend.
