Invaluable guidanceWilliam, Ireland, 28 Jun 15

I had a sking accident in February and required ACL reconstruction surgery. Post surgery I developed a compressed disc from poor posture as I was not walking correctly and also received trearment for this condition. Treatment is ongoing and recovery is progressing very well thanks to the excellent treatment and supervision of my condition by Phyllis. I attended here and was given excellent treatment as well a clear advice on what I needed to do pre and post op. This guidance was invaluable and had me in great shape for the surgery. Now I am in post-op phase and getting superb treatment. The knowledge and experience Phyllis has is invaluable to a patient recovering in an unknown phase of treatment and she is very strong on setting realistic progress targets and keeping the patient focused on achieving them. I cannot speak highly enough of the treatment I received, the knowledge and expertise of the team and the supportive environment which really aids recovery and encourages me to improve.

Included in physiotherapy treatment or in massage session. This technique is used to stretch tense muscles and relieve contractures, and can be painful.Deep tissue massage focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas. It uses mostly the same strokes as in classic massage therapy, with slower movement and deeper pressure, concentrated on areas of tension and pain.

Went to Paul for a full body deep tissue massage after a few months of heavy training. The treatment included dry needling, cupping and deep tissue massage to tight muscles. He explained everything he was doing and let me know some problem areas that would require extra stretching. Got great relief from the treatment and found it very informative. 10/10 would recommend and will return in the future. Paul was Super

Felt relief even after treatmentNicola, Ireland, 02 Oct 15

My son found Eleanor to be extremely good and really worked into the area that he had problems with. He said even after treatment that he could feel relief. It's a little tender this morning but that's to be expected. We will be going back for another appointment. Easy to find and in a nice spot. Would recommend to others. Found our overall experience very pleasant and Eleanor treated my sons issue very well. Not only that but she showed him some leg exercises to do at home.

The treatment is great and the prices are amazing. The masseuse is consistent and so I've returned to this place many times. I recommend it for everyone. I felt better after the massage and it improved my posture. On certain days of the week there is a 1 hour massage available for only €35. The clinic is nice, clean and relaxing. The place is located in Deansgrange with parking directly outside. There is usually music playing during the massage and its always nice and warm. There is a lovely smell also.

Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapythat focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. Itis especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiffnecks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders. Some of the same strokes are used as classic massagetherapy, but the movement is slower and the pressure is deeper and concentratedon areas of tension and pain. Deep tissue massage is recommended for athletes, those who have sustained a physical injury, and those who experience consistentback and muscular problems. What conditions can it treat? Chronic pain. Limited and/or painful mobility. Recovery from injury (whiplash, sports injuries,etc.). Repetitive strain injury/RSI (carpal tunnelsyndrome, etc.). Muscle tension or spasm. Postural problems. Lakeland Sports Injury Clinic - Lisa McCarthy

(01) 525 5342 ext: 44097 Drumbreanlis, Carrigallen, H12 F840
Rating from 8 Reviews My first impressions were that the quality of care and treatment were of the highest orderAnonymous, Ireland, 16 Nov 17

I went to two appointments in October 2017 with Lisa at the Lakeland clinic for problems with my neck, shoulders and hip. Lisa was very understanding and friendly. Lisa has a great gift for putting patients at ease. My neck, shoulders and hip felt a great deal better after my treatments and I would very highly recommend a visit to Lisa's clinic for people suffering from muscle and joint pain. The Lakeland clinic was chosen by me as I was looking for a physiotherapist in the Leitrim area and I count myself as extremely lucky to have found Lisa. My first (and second) impressions were that the quality of care and treatment were of the highest order

She is so friendly and brilliant at what she doesCiaran, Ireland, 01 Dec 17

I was having pain in my right shoulder for over 18 months. I decided to go to Lisa’s clinic to give it a try and it was so worthwhile. Lisa is so friendly and brilliant at what she does. I definitely recommend Lisa for all your aches and pains.
