Would highly recommendSean, Ireland, 02 08 23

Have been availing of the TECAR Therapy over the past 6 months. I have found it an excellent preventative therapy for a long term lower back problem. After the first couple of sessions I noticed that the problem area was gaining strength and resilience, something I hadn’t experienced with tradition physiotherapy treatments in the past. The treatments are further enhanced by Brian’s empathic approach, which adds greatly to the overall wellness experienced from the session. Would highly recommend Brian and the cottage clinic .

Deep tissue massage 1 hour €80 I've never had a massage before and wasn't sure what to expect. I've had problems with my shoulder for years and my GP recommended therapeutic massage. Liz was absolutely brilliant, she put me at ease straight away and explained everything step by step. Would highly recommend, in fact, I've booked another appointment.

However, it’s not just for the serious athlete.  Sports Massage can benefit anyone participating in sports, exercise or strenuous activities. Keeping muscles and tissues supple helps to prevent injury. Addressing an injury as soon as it happens can help speed up recovery time and insure better recovery so ensuring less problems in the future. At Finesse we offer a range of different types of Massage therapy. Sports Massage, pre and post event, is important for both the treatment and prevention of soft tissue injury in the physically active. Deep Tissue Massage is used to relieve severe tension in the muscles and connective tissue. The focus is on the muscles located underneath the top muscles. It is often recommended for individuals experiencing severe pain, athletes and those who have sustained injury.  Pregnancy Massage uses soothing oils to relax and support a woman during her pregnancy. Regular massages will benefit circulation, reduce swelling, improve respiration, reduce shoulder tension and relieve musculo-skeletal pain, particularly in the back and pelvic area. Regular treatments throughout the pregnancy have shown to help promote a successful labour and lead to more effective post-natal recovery. Orthopaedic Massage is a style of massage influenced by Chinese Medicine. It relies on applying gentle pressure to the body in a gentle and soothing motion. It can be received with clothes on, and it works very well on freeing up injured or tense muscles by gently breaking down blockages, scar tissue and/or adhesions.
