I’ve been a patient of Dove Tail for many years. They have always given me great care and paid attention to detail. The implants I have (a fix on four), which were done about twelve years ago, are still looking great. I have regular aftercare to maintain my smile. I went today to see Mr Glassford, what a brilliant guy, top of his game but so friendly and down to earth. The nurses are also lovely and friendly. I attended Highfield Dental & Facial Clinic on Tuesday 31st January 2023 for my routine visit to the hygienist and dentist. I have been a patient for many years and as always I received a first class service. The clinic was immaculate and the staff at every level was efficient, friendly and totally professional. They always make allowances for my age and check that I am comfortable. If you are looking for a dental practice in Southampton you will not find a better one than this clinic.

Outstanding from the outset! From first enquiry to book an advance appointment; analysis of bonding treatment needed to remove a previous dentist’s work and answering my many questions. I was terrified about having a large abscessed tooth removed when I arrived at Smilekind in Boscombe. As soon as I arrived my surgeon, Dr. Bilal Fazil, came out shook my hand, and asked if I liked cricket. Odd, but what a different way to relax a clearly anxious patient. He took the time to explain exactly what he was going to do in a language I understood and continually reassured me it would all be fine. The injections of anesthetic were given painlessly and before I had even realized what was happening Dr. Bilal was showing me the extracted tooth. I needed some stitches, but again this was painless and not uncomfortable at all. He and his nurse Sarah, who kept talking and reassuring me were just amazing and I cannot praise them enough. If like me you are fearful of the dentist you really don't need to be or have anything to fear with these two. You really will be pleasantly surprised and leave a lot less stressed than when you arrived. I did!

I haven’t seen a dentist for over 15 years due to complete fear. I started with a few broken teeth that for the last 8 years have me in consistent pain, abscess and unable to eat what I want. It’s felt like an utter curse. After being bashed about by my family to go and see a dentist I found Contemporary Dental. My first visit I was asked some questions and given a mass of X-rays. Straight away mark and his entire team were great, I was super nervous to even have anyone look due to embarrassment however mark was fantastic. I said I was nervous and anything I have done, I need to be sedated. Normally this is the point I’m given a massive speech about I should try it first blah blah blah, but not here, mark just said “fine not a problem”. Everything I asked for he could accommodate. My first appointment to have 2 severely broken teeth removed was yesterday, I was extremely nervous however when I got in, I paid, said hello, laid down and they put me under sedation. I floated through the entire procedure and woke up to mark just finishing up, asking if I was all good and a lady holding my hand. Gave me meds and my chaperone took me home. Honestly, it was a breeze and my issues sorted. You may look at the prices and think expensive, maybe not, who knows, all I can say is the service is incredibly good and worth every single penny. I’d go back in a heartbeat at the sight of any issue.
