Bone Grafting Los Algodones

In August of 2024, my husband decided he wanted to get dentures. This was because he has had dental problems for some time and does not like to go to the dentist. He will soon be 89 years old and decided if it was going to happen he had better get it done. I did a lot of research on dentures, crowns and implants. It all seemed very expensive. I then researched the dental facilities in Mexico. I read a lot of reviews, went on various websites and compared different clinics and dentists. After much discussion, we decided to use MARIETTA DENTAL CARE in Algodones, Mexico. We made a very good choice! When I called the office, I spoke with Luis Padilla, the patient coordinator. He was very cordial and set up an appointment for an evaluation. Their driver met us as we came into Mexico and took us to the clinic. At the office, we found it to be very clean and modern. We were warmly greeted by the receptionist, Jesus, who offered us coffee, soda or water while we waited for our appointment. At the appointment, the dentist who worked with my husband was Dr. Leslie Carrasco. She was very efficient, professional and gentle. After her examination, she gave her evaluation with a very good explanation of his problems. We were given three options for procedures for the dentures, crowns or implants. We then met with Luis Padilla and he reviewed the options with us. This included the time element for each option. The financial amount for each option was written out in detail for us to review. Luis offered to help us with accommodations if we had to stay overnight and a driver to take us to and from appointments while in Algodones. We agreed to let them know as soon as possible on our decision about the option my husband preferred. Crowns were the option he chose, especially with the short amount of time the whole procedure would take. Luis set up a schedule for the work to be accomplished in a total of four days. We agreed and decided to stay in Algodones while the dental work was done. Dr. Sarai Payan and her assistant Mia did most of the work with the preparation for crowns and bridges. After the crowns were made in the lab they did the work in putting them on the teeth. In doing all of this they were always conscientious about my husband’s pain level and made sure he was comfortable. They were very knowledgeable and did an excellent job. They also helped him choose the colour he wanted for the crowns and we were all very pleased with the results. Other specialists came in to do the extractions and the root canals that were needed. Again, his pain level was a priority in all the procedures. Now remember we are talking about a man who does not like dental work. He said he felt very little pain but his mouth was sore from holding it open for so long. All of the above took three days. On the fourth day Dr. Sarai checked his bite, did some adjustments, went over the care of his new teeth and gave him a final “O.K”. I would like to thank all the staff at the MARIETTA DENTAL CARE. From the dentist who worked with my husband, the receptionist, Jesus, including Danessa who helped me get prescriptions, and to the driver, Jerry, who got us very safely to and from all the appointments we highly commend you all. And we highly recommend you all! We met other patients from the east to the west coast at the office. These patients, along with my husband, were very efficiently directed by Luis Padilla, the patient coordinator. So, as I said in the first of this long review, we think we made a very good choice in going to MARIETTA DENTAL CARE!

I was looking for a dentist in Algodones and read through reviews and emailed 4 different offices. Dr Ruiz personally called me back immediately and got me an appointment for the next day (which is the day I asked for) I went this morning for an X-ray, exam and cleaning with Dr. Ruiz and had the best experience. I definitely recommend him and his staff and consider him my new Dentist. Great office and Dentist.

This is the best service I have received in my life. I had a dental cleaning with Dr. Aranxa Garcia, she took great care of me and made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. The staff were very professional and polite! Consider this dental office if you are ever in need of dental services!

I recommend Ivan Implant, 100%! I had 2 molar extractions and 2 implants. The extractions were painless, their dentistry is state-of-the-art and the staff were wonderful! They even provided transportation from Yuma and arranged for my hotel. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

I was pleasantly surprised at not only their high tech techniques and equipment but their amazing kindness and positive attitude. The team there was precise, thorough and quick. The front desk has done an wonderful job at staying on communication, always answering the phone/emails. I highly recommend and appreciate their services.

I went to have four caps done , after a thorough examination the dentist told us I do not need caps the structure of my teeth were fine. The honesty and integrity of this company are very refreshing in these times.

What a wonderful experience! I found Unik Dentristry, Dr Manuel Ramos, online when looking to get bridge work. I went there in November, and the office attendant was so friendly and made us feel at home. Dr Ramos is such a kind and caring Dr I Thought I could just get a bridge to replace 3 teeth, however, Dr Ramos was honest to tell me he could put one in but advised me it could break because it would be too long, so advised me to get an implant, which I agreed to. Just finished up yesterday with the bridge attachment, and realized overnight it was too tight, so Dr Ramos took me back in today, had to remove it, file off some and replace the bridge at no cost. I am so pleased with the look as well. Again it was a pleasant experience, I would recommend him highly for your dental needs. Thank you again, Dr Ramos!

Had a great experience with Hope dental Staff. Starting with Lupita which she was very friendly and kind… she was the person that set us up with this appointment; Dr. Benjamin & Juan and all of their staff took very good care of us. I would definitely recommend this to all my friends and to everyone that asks me. They are very professional at what they do. Between me and my wife we had 32 crowns and two bridges done. I have been a patient at Healthy Smiles for many years. The level of service has always been top-notch. Yilka and her team welcome me and are always focused on my care. As a former snowbird from Reno Nevada, it is well worth the time and investment to travel (more than 1000 miles round trip by car) to her clinic. My recent visit dealt with a broken tooth that required a crown. My Reno dentist quoted me $2600 while Yilka did the work for around $600. Modern equipment, fast yet detailed. I was treated royally and am extremely happy with my results. I had my previous dentistry done in Tijuana and Canada and received nothing close to the results I had at Prostho. The price was by far the lowest I saw anywhere else in town.

My experience began with research and ended with choosing RD Dental first because of their quick response and pricing (not the cheapest). They answered all my questions quickly. Yes, I was nervous about going into the unknown—from Canada to get implants—but the savings helped considerably! My sister and I flew into Phoenix, where we were quickly picked up by Jesus and Rossel from the clinic. We felt very comfortable right from the start! After a few stops in Yuma for lunch and coffee, the border crossing was so easy! They took us to the Hotel California, made sure we were checked in, and confirmed our appointment for the next day at 9 a.m. The hotel was ‘quaint’—nothing fancy, but clean, with air conditioning and a convenient café (great coffee and fresh donuts every day) and restaurant. The clinic also provided transport every day to and from the clinic if we wanted it. My first appointment went well. I initially planned for six implants, but after consulting with the dentist and reviewing the scans, I ended up getting eight implants, two root canals with crowns, an extraction, whitening, and, of course, a cleaning. After lunch at the adjoining restaurant, I went for the two root canals. Let me just say—if I had had two root canals at home, my mouth would have been sore for at least three days. Not here! The dentist numbed just enough, and we were able to enjoy the rest of our afternoon. The next day included scans, crown fittings, whitening, and cleaning—thank you to Dr. Irma Barcia! She was gentle and quick. There was a lot of waiting around, but patience is key—it’s ‘Mexican time.’ The next day was the implants. Dr. Irma fitted the crowns, and then I saw Dr. Hector Manchvil (spelling?), the implant specialist. I was so nervous, but wow—he did an awesome job. Three hours later, I was walking out! While walking around Los Algodones, I saw numerous people with a lot of bruising—but not with Dr. Hector. I went back the next day, and there was very little swelling and no bruising. The following day was for recovery, and then on Friday, Mariela (the owner of both the dental clinic and restaurant) and Rossel drove us back to Phoenix. I know this was long, but I am looking forward to returning in September to finish up with the crowns. The whole crew here was fabulous! I can’t forget about Ivan at the front counter, the dental assistants, and the waitresses at the restaurant! I highly recommend RD Dental. I saw Dr. Carlos Morales at the CME Dental Clinic back in January and he and his staff did a great job installing my 5 unit bridge and zirconia crowns. My bite feels great and I haven’t experienced pain or discomfort with my new bridge. Dr. Morales has all the latest dental technology to make your new smile look great. CME has a new digital scanner that can now take digital impressions of your entire mouth. This digital scanner is lot more accurate than the old way of taking impressions of your teeth by having you bite into a mold. Maybe that’s why my bite feels great when I chew my food. I also got to tour their new dental lab across the street where they make all their crowns and bridges and it was very impressive. They use all the top dental software and big screen computers to make your crowns look, fit, and feel great. Lastly, I recently had a liver transplant so I’m very careful about the dental clinic I chose to do my dental work since I’m immune compromised. Safety and cleanliness is VERY important to me!! This place definitely passed that test with me. They were very clean and took all the necessary safety precautions when they were working on my teeth. Check them out. I highly recommend them. CME stands behind all their dental work and will give you a written guarantee before you leave in case you ever experience any future problems. Your satisfaction is very important to them. The entire staff is very friendly and accommodating. Make sure you ask for the office manager Francisco and tell him I referred you. He will take good care of you. I can’t wait to go back and get more dental work done on my remaining teeth!!
