I only had a retainer made. It is fine. They came and picked us up and took us back over the border which was really helpful. I will go back next time I need a dentist. This is the only out of five clinics that contacted me!

Dr. Ivan and his wife Brianda helped us every step of the way—from guiding us on our drive to picking us up at the boarder and even to telling us the best place to get birria tacos and elote! PATZI dental clinic came highly recommended after a prolonged and nearly unbearable experience with one of the larger dental clinic in Los Algodones Mexico. The dentists at PATZI were extremely knowledgeable, dedicated, compassionate, and completed an extensive amount of work in both a cost effective and timely manner. I could say they were friendly but that would only be half the story because they are truly special people and will be considered friends for life. Overall, I couldn't have been more impressed or happier with the entire experience and will never go anywhere else. Some of the larger dental clinics might be good but PATZI is simply the best!

I had a great experience here. I had two 4-tooth bridges, four crowns, two extractions, two implants and a cleaning. After discounts and insurance, my California dentist estimate was $17,000.00. $4900.00 was the bill here and another $1200.00 to finish off the implant crowns in five months. Dr. Rigoberto Vasquez and his assistant Nicole worked on me. Both of them struggled a bit with English but it was never an issue as they know enough to explain all of the procedures. All of the staff was super helpful and friendly. The equipment was state of the art and the facilities were very clean. Dr. Vasquez was the son of another dentist at the facility and his sister is a dentist there as well. I will be bringing my wife here also.

9-month update: It’s been nine months since I first visited Smile Dental in Algodones for an implant in March 2020. The implant was placed by Dr. Pavel with very little discomfort or pain, and then I had to wait six months before returning for the crown. There were no problems at all during the six months and no pain at all. When I returned for the crown, I received the same friendly service as I did the first time. They really treat you like family, and it was great to see the same staff again. Dr. Pavel placed the crown as well as an additional crown that I needed for a molar that lost a filling. All the dental work and cleaning for my wife’s teeth (and mine, too) was expertly done, and the trip over the border was a breeze. We stayed in Yuma overnight and it was an easy trip from the Phoenix area. It’s now been three months later, and the two crowns and implants are perfect. If my wife or I ever need any other dental work we’ll be returning to Smile Dental for whatever we might need. 10 stars!
