I was looking for a dentist in Algodones and read through reviews and emailed 4 different offices. Dr Ruiz personally called me back immediately and got me an appointment for the next day (which is the day I asked for) I went this morning for an X-ray, exam and cleaning with Dr. Ruiz and had the best experience. Yilka is an exceptional dentist who communicates clearly exactly what needs to be done and is dedicated to the highest standards of her profession. I trust her work completely and brought my husband to her for years; he was immunocompromised and had B-cell CLL leukaemia. He also had bone grafts, sinus lift and implants performed years ago by Yilka and came through all without a problem. Yesterday I needed to have two teeth removed due to periodontal disease that started in my 20s, and I am almost 70 now. Yilka, put in bone with sinus lift, PRF membrane, and two implants. I’ve followed her instructions for aftercare, and my swelling is minimal, and any pain is well-managed. I’m feeling much better than I thought I would, and this is the day after my surgery. Found this office and contacted them and was contacted next day with requested information. I made the appointment and was greeted both by the doctor himself as well as the coordinator. As far as the service, I had a root canal and crown done that went very well. The doctor performed the root canal with ease and I barely felt any pain, he answered all my questions, explained step by step what he was doing, and ordered and fit the crown and installed it the same day. The doctor is very nice and the office although looks average from the outside, was very clean and neat. I actually enjoyed this trip this time and have been going to a different dentist there previously, decided on a change. He is very nice and as I said, is neat and clean and I have no hesitation about going again. I don’t give reviews unless they are deserved and I don’t put reviews unless they are true. Feel confident that this doctor will perform whatever you need with professionalism and compassion. I also received a follow-up the next day asking how I feel and if everything is fine. I would also like to compliment the gentleman who coordinated the appointment. GOOD JOB.
