We have been satisfied with the dental work and service from the office staffRoger, US, 31 08 20

I had a bridge put in spanning five teeth. The first bridge didn’t fit. The second bridge broke when being installed. The third bridge broke a few months after installation. Dr. Escobedo was apologetic and assured me that he would make it right and give a discount on further dental work in the coming year. The dental office has a record of this and assured me that the work was covered under warranty or guarantee. My wife had a cap put on one tooth and is satisfied with that dental work from Dr. Escobedo. Overall, we have been satisfied with the dental work and service from the office staff. We chose this dental office on the recommendation from friends who have been using this dentist for several years with good service.

I could not be happierJohn, US, 05 05 17

I had a deep cleaning and two extractions done. The procedure was very efficient and professional. Cost was very inexpensive, it would have easily cost at least five times more in the U.S. Dental Del Rio is very easy to locate. It was extremely clean with a modern inviting atmosphere. The staff were all super friendly and made me feel at ease. I will highly recommend this clinic to everyone and will be returning for any future dental work that i need done. I could not be happier with my experience!!!

I am very happy with the resultDavid, US, 17 11 15

I had some teeth pulled and replaced with implants and crowns. It has been a long treatment since I had to wait for the implants to heal, but I finally received my permanent teeth, and they are excellent. I am very happy with the result. Dr. Sonia Edeza is an excellent dentist. She is extremely patient and gentle. She has a zen-like presence and never becomes flustered or hurried, no matter how many people are waiting. She takes her time and makes sure the job is done right. She also has the gentlest hands of any dentist I have ever been to. Her prices are also very fair. The person who does her implants, however, is not half as gentle, constantly talks while he is working on your mouth with other people in the room, and doesn't seem to take his job seriously.

They seemed pleased with their past resultsSusan, US, 20 01 20

Very tiny dental office. Four chairs and a couch crammed into a reception area along with a reception counter. The receptionist seemed knowledgeable about the policies and procedures of the office. Both my husband and I had appointments for a consult. We were first seen by a very young general dentist. He seemed knowledgeable. He poked and prodded and took the dental X-rays. He then told me what he thought I needed based on his exam. I then saw the implant specialist. He sent me across the way to have a panoramic X-ray before finalizing his treatment plan for me. (The panoramic X-ray cost me $150. I reasoned that I could use it for all the consults I had scheduled. Turns out the second dentist did a more in-depth 3D scan but didn’t charge me. We’ll see if the third dentist uses it.). In the meantime, the dentist saw my husband, who had requested an implant for a missing tooth pulled this past summer. My husband jumped in with both feet and accepted the offer to get an implant right then and there. He had his teeth cleaned for $30 and an implant inserted for $900 in about a half-hour. He will return in several months to have the crown put on the implant (additional charge). He was given a prescription for antibiotics and pain pills, which he filled next door at a pharmacy for about $15. Oddly enough it was the receptionist who wrote and signed the prescription. My treatment plan was more complex. It involved several implants for long-missing teeth, a sinus lift, new crowns for several front teeth. Some of the work they would do right away and some after months of healing took place. I declined to have anything done as I had appointments with two more dentists for consults. I left with an estimate for $7700, which is a whole lot better than the plan from back home of $22,000. The two things that I was not particularly comfortable with was; 1) When I paid the bill with a personal check, I was asked not to fill in the “payable to” section. I inquired as to the reason for that. I was first laughingly told by the receptionist that it was so she could go shopping. 2). The two exam rooms are barely big enough for a dental chair, the dentist and a dental tech are connected. It’s actually one bigger room set up exactly the same on both sides of a separation wall. You can hear everything that is being said and done on the other side of the wall. But I don’t believe Mexico has a HIPPA law! I believe there was a third small exam room located next to the tiny bathroom. This is just not the office for someone with claustrophobia or privacy concerns. Communication was not an issue, as all staff I had interaction with spoke English. I also observed good hygiene practices. Three of the patients I spoke with while waiting were repeated patients. They seemed pleased with their past results. My husband’s implant seems to be healing well. It required nothing for pain after the first 24 hours. Dental Departures facilitated this visit and sent us several appointment reminders.

I have no words how grateful I amBasim, UK, 15 07 15

In my opinion, Gentle dental should be the second name of Baja dental .High graded treatment with gentle dental care and very cost effective. Dr. Edgar thank you we have become very good friends. Very friendly staff with sincere advice. This clinic makes sure that if a treatment is not suitable for you the Dr. will not recommend you which explains that they are not just about money but for providing the quality service to their patients. My treatment cost was within my budget. I had 14 extractions, 8 crowns, 1 root canal and upper lower partials. For a while I was looking to have my dental treatment done however in Canada the cost of treatment that was given by my dentist was outrageous. After searching online a few clinics, I came across Baja and I am happy to say I made the right decision. Joana was the main point of contact who explained patiently and answered all my queries regarding my dental treatment. This was really important for me because a good price and good dental treatment go both hands in hands. This clinic took care of me from the day first, booked hotel 15 days for me at their own cost, had transport for me for travelling back and forth from hotel to clinic everything was simply the best. All my initial dental nervousness disappeared in no time. Rene I want to thank you for being just a great person and driving me back and forth from hotel to clinic whenever needed . Thank you Joana, the owner of Baja , orilia, dr.edgar , for the great treatment and feel like home stay in Yuma. It was simply the best, to be honest I have no words how grateful I am..Thank you for everything .
