Dental Implants Costa Rica

The whole experience from first contact through my temporary teeth has been awesome. Having an extensive medical history, I have experienced a lot of doctors, nurses etc. The respectful, friendly, truly compassionate staff including. Dr. Urzola, Cristina, Beatriz and staff were beyond what I could have ever expected. Researching such an extensive treatment was daunting at best. (a lot of information, prices procedures etc.)  Dr. Urzola personally reached out to me upon reviewing my x-rays and gave me a clear and concise treatment plan. Cristina (patient coordinator) went well beyond expectations to make me feel comfortable in all the details of accommodations, air travel, hotels etc. I am so appreciative of my all on 6 treatment.  It makes me emotional thinking of the truly caring, friendly team Dr. Urzola and staff has provided me with a long-term solution that is beyond dollars and the treatment offered by dentists in the US. Sidenote: Upon arriving for my first appointment a patient of Dr. Urzola approached me, showed me his teeth and bragged about what a positive experience he had. (I am one of those guys too) I Had a question after I got home and called their office, Dr. Urzola personally answered my call and had the answer immediately.

I was very happy with my dealings with Star Dental Clinic. For connections out of their office I dealt almost entirely with Melissa (based in Seattle); for dealings in the Clinic I dealt with both the dental practitioners and their support staff. I found the facilities as good as any I have used at home in Canada, and better than some. Personnel were knowledgeable and friendly, treatment was conducted quickly and efficiently, everyone spoke English which compensated for my inability to speak Spanish. They run a highly professional operation. As a Canadian, the only hesitation I would have is with respect to currency exchange - I estimate I saved about $1,000.00 even after allowing for hotel, food and travel costs, and would have saved substantially more if I had needed more work done. Not only would I recommend Star Dental to others, but I actually did so - a friend of mine who needed more extensive dental work arranged to travel with me for his own treatment. I spoke with him the day before completing this review and I've been advised by him that he is also very happy with the service he has received. I now need a little more work but can't justify the cost of another trip to Costa Rica for it - I wish Star Dental was much closer. I would definitely go to them again.

If you're ever in need of a fantastic dentist, I highly recommend coming to San Jose, Costa Rica! After losing my front teeth and neighboring tooth in an accident at age 11, I've undergone numerous operations and tried almost every possible dental treatment by age 37. I've had to replace my front teeth every 10 years or so, especially during my younger years when I was still growing. I've been with Dr. Jehoavas Rafa for a couple of years now, and he's the first dentist who not only does a technically great job but also considers aesthetics - which is super rare, believe me! Highly recommend Dr. Jehoavas Rafa for professional and cosmetic treatment - he's one of the best dentists I've ever experienced!!

The experience was exceptional, from the welcoming and efficient staff to the comfortable procedure. Dr.Cesar and Geovanna’s attention to detail were evident, making the overall visit highly satisfactory. I highly recommend their services for top-notch dental care.

Dr. Josef Cordero and his wife, Dr. Telma Rubinstein, bring nearly half of century of experience to their dental practice. Their daughter, Dr. Nadine Cordero contributes unstoppable energy to the team. They are supported by other dedicated members, including Dr. Coraline Nunes, Dr. Roberto Hernandes and Dr. Alejandro Montero. What truly sets this team apart is their passion for their work, which goes beyond financial motivation. In our opinion, this is one of the best dental family businesses in the world. With modern equipment and dental lab inside what can be done in U.S. for years, in Dr. Cordero's office can be done in days with better quality and around a half of the U.S. crazy prices. My wife and I highly recommend them. Our review is based not only on our own opinion, but also on the options of other patients who we interacted with while getting treatment there for one week in April 2025.
