Full mouth reconstruction. I need a two part procedure as I have severe TMJ syndrome. Dr. Jorge Cruz, is wonderful. He understood the complexity of my needs, that it was not simply I need crowns but that my bite needed to be realigned. I have a top prosthodontist in NYC whom I adore and trust but the treatment was cost prohibitive.

When Dr. Cruz spoke, I knew he understood the entire picture. He is kind, and compassionate and did his best to make me comfortable during some very long appointments. My teeth look incredible. Better than I hoped for. My friends at home are impressed and amazed. They look perfect, yet natural and I don’t look like someone who “had their teeth done.”

The front office staff was disorganized and that caused me some difficulty. I spoke with Volloya the clinic manager and she seemed open to my criticisms and promised to address. I am returning in July and will know if improvements have been made regarding office coordination, communication etc. Regardless, I recommend Dr. Jorge Cruz enthusiastically and am grateful to him for his excellent work.

The price includes both trips- all work. That includes 26 temporary crowns, 26 permanent crowns, one implant and a night guard. It costs over $100,000 in New York.

I have had my All-On-4 for a YEAR as of today! I waited to do the review because something as major/expensive / life-changing as an ALL-ON-4 isn't something that can honestly be reviewed after just a few days.

I was born with Enamel Hypoplasia; that is, my adult teeth didn't have any enamel. I was told when I was a teenager that I would be wearing dentures by the time I was 25. I decided to do my best to take care of what I had - I brushed after every meal, I flossed, etc. My teeth lasted until I was 56!

I tried several times to get my teeth fixed in the US (starting in 1989) and the price / procedure kept changing including the first time I started in 1989 and I had already paid the dentist over $5k (in 1989 $).

Any how, I visited a few more dentists up here in Texas throughout the years and never got a good feeling for they were going to do for me (price was all the way to $100k with a WHOLE year of warranty).

I first reached out to Goodness Dental in 2016 and they were very informative and had me send down a panoramic x-ray of my teeth. I was told that if my gums were in good shape (they are), they recommended an ALL-ON-4 and it would take two trips to Costa Rica 6 months apart.

Covid19 finally allowed me the opportunity to travel to Costa Rica in December of 2020 - they yanked all my TEETH!!! For the first couple of days, I was thinking WTF did I just do. They screwed by bottom temporaries in and gave me a set of removeable upper CLOWN teeth (I only wore them for the minimum recommended 1 hour a day as I couldn't talk/chew with them).

My family and I travelled back to Costa Rica in June/July 2021 for the permanent teeth. They told me for most it would take a couple of months to get used to it - since I was used to having no teeth for the previous 6 months, it only took me a few days.

The procedure has been life changing as I finally have teeth that are super sensitive to things like lemons and other acidic fruits, I can chew without shifting food around from side to side in my mouth, etc.

The only thing I would ding Goodness Dental for it there has been no follow-up since I left to see how was I adjusting to my new teeth. Since I haven't had any issues, this hasn't been a big deal to me - but I know others who need the follow up.

My daughter Heather had a great trip to Costa Rica to get her teeth worked on. Ariadna is to be commended for her expertise and for helping Heather get through a difficult procedure. I feel much more confident now that her next trip will be a success and that she is in good hands.

Their dental care is first class. They do what they say they will, they answer questions, and the dentists and technicians are capable and competent. They provide transportation. The treatment itself was fairly painless, which is good because I'm a boob. They are patient and always pleasant. I was very pleased and will return.

I recently had a really great experience with Goodness Dental and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch dental services performed much cheaper than in the US.

From the moment I contacted them for a quote, Dr Carlos was very responsive, informative, and helpful with scheduling my procedure options and my trip. Even though it took an extra month to get my passport renewed, he never forgot about me but was never pushy either. This is the big one though, my flight to Costa Rica was overbooked and I was rescheduled for the next day. Alejandra was still able to work everything out for me within the duration of my trip, re-arranging my transportation from the airport, my consultation, and everything.

When I finally got to the clinic (it's in Escazu, a really nice area on the SW side of San Jose), they all treated me like family. The clinic itself is immaculate! It has a super modern decor, was spotlessly clean, was fully stocked with snacks, drinks, and cappuccinos, and had a private waiting room with leather la-z boys. Dr Maria even shared a slice of her chocolate birthday cake with me, so I felt like a real VIP the whole time I was there.

My procedures went very well. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised when they had me prepped, numbed, extracted, bone grafted, and two molar implants placed in less than 1 hour!

After the procedure, Dr Maria went step by step through every bit of the after-care information and what to expect. The day after the surgery, I was nervous about one side being much more swollen than the other and she got right back with me to ease my worries. Every team member I interacted with at Goodness Dental was kind, concerned for me, and highly capable. Not to mention I got to spend 3 days up in glorious La Fortuna while in CR! I am 4 days post-op, healing quickly, and thoroughly satisfied with my decision to go with Goodness Dental.

Fabulous staff, excellent work and incredible prices. I’m so happy I chose to travel from the States to Costa Rica and Goodness dental. I encourage everyone to do this for themselves.

I had a crown replaced and found out that a root canal was also needed. My wife had two crown replacements and found that a tooth was cracked below the gum line. Her options were an extraction or an implant with a crown. We opted for the implant. In the US an implant would be $3,000-$4,000. Goodness Dental charges $2,200 for a bone graft, implant and crown.

My dentist charges $1,200-$1,500 for a crown and Goodness Dental charges around $450.00. Root canals are about the same price. My wife had a night guard made for $150.00, in the US it is around $450.00. The clinic is approved by the ADA. The dentists are all specialists in their field. It is a one stop practice for all procedures. The staff and dentists are exceptional in practice and attitudes toward patients. Their equipment seems to be the latest technology dentistry uses in the US. My wife sent an email when we arrived home about the implant and they responded in a timely manner. They treat you the same way as a local dentist would even though they are in another country. Language is not an issue as they all speak very good English.

I can’t say enough good things about Goodness Dental. I know first hand how scary it is, knowing that you have some trouble, in my case, probably life-threatening.

From the very first call, I made to the final results these people have been nothing short of amazing. Nowhere in the US would you get this level of attention, care, honesty and results. I needed very extensive work and not only did they do this work to a super high degree, but they also lowered my apprehension and fear, they made me feel like they really cared and they delivered with honesty, love and understanding. If there was a rating higher than 10 I would surely give it.

Going to the dentist was never something I looked forward to until I got the opportunity to be cared for at Goodness Dental. Their professionalism, quality of service and overall attention is really outstanding. Cost (price) wise it is far more convenient than here in the US even after airfare to Costa Rica. I just returned home to South Florida from my 2nd phase visit to Goodness Dental. I’ve had major dental work completed. I feel very blessed and grateful to have had to opportunity to do this work and to have trusted the team at Goodness with the process. 6 months ago, on my first visit, I brought a couple of family members with me for emotional support. I was terrified. If you read my review from my first visit, you will see what a great experience that first trip was. This time around, I didn’t feel it necessary to bring anybody along with me, because I felt that I was already in the care of the family. That is everything. I believe that above all else is what sets Goodness apart from other clinics, and give them the standing they enjoy. The team here has become like family to me. They genuinely care about my well being. You can contact them at any hour of the day, and get an immediate response. I had the comfort of knowing I was in the hands of the most qualified professionals, and all of my questions and concerns where addressed immediately. Even now that I have returned home, I reach out with a question and get an answer right away. I feel like I have friends for life with those guys. They have truly changed my life. Goodness Dental is a great clinic with an incredibly kind and compassionate staff. They took care of everything for me and made me feel so welcome. I received an all on 4 with dental implants. They were not the cheapest clinic, but out of the four clinics I visited in Costa Rica, I felt the most comfortable at Goodness Dental. The actual clinic has a WOW factor when you walk in. The people they have on staff are the sweetest people I have ever met.

There are two reasons that people come to Costa Rica for dental care. They want quality and they want to save money. That's what motivated me to go to Costa Rica. I chose Goodness Dental and am glad I did.

At the clinic, I was greeted as if I was a returning war hero. I was given a great cup of coffee and then went into consultation with Aborn and Dr Karen Yurell, the primary care coordinator after they had spent about a half hour reviewing my case. They reviewed my x-rays and then presented me with their findings, options for treatment and a print out of details, including cost.

Initially, I was planning on one root canal and a crown at $900. I was quoted $3500 by my dentist back home I ended up with three root canals (two new infections revealed in x-rays), one crown and two posts at a cost of $2300. The U.S. cost for that work would be in the range of $6000-$8000. Almost all of the work was done as I sat in the chair for 4 ½ hours. It was fairly pleasant, the equipment and facilities were of the highest standards. Dr Aborn told me they use U.S. materials, follow U.S. protocols and OSHA infection control standards. Everything looked up to par for me. I visited their new clinic in Escazu recently and was impressed. It is probably the nicest dental clinic I have ever set foot in. They have been good at follow-ups and keep me on their mailing list, which is nice.
