What is Breast Implant Surgery?

Breast Implant Surgery, or Boob Job or Breast Augmentation Surgery, is performed to give women fuller and more rounded breasts.  It is popular among women who have lost breast volume because of weight loss or after childbirth and breast feeding. It is also performed for breast cancer patients who have undergone mastectomy surgery, to reconstruct their breasts.

How is Breast Implant Surgery done?

Breast Implant Surgery is performed either by a fat transfer procedure to increase the volume of breasts or by making incisions and inserting silicone gel or saline filled implants to increase the size of breasts. Depending on the patient's requirements they can be inserted above or underneath the muscle tissue of the breast and be inserted through incisions made underneath the breast or under the armpit.  The surgeon should explain the benefits of each type of procedure.

Mr Oudit did my surgeries for me & I cannot speak highly enough of him & his amazing team. I had a tummy tuck & breast lift a few months ago then an arm & thigh lift & just had my 6 week post op. I had no complications & Mr Oudits work is so neat & my body confidence is like a dream come true as I used to be 20 stone, I have a flat stomach, my breasts are lifted & in perfect proportion & no more flabby arms & thighs. Mr Oudit, 's team looked after me so well from the anaesthesiologist & all the team. I felt completely at ease also in the hospital with the lovely nurses & staff. I had a breast augmentation with Dr Van Look in 2021. From start to finish, the service and experience were incredible. My breasts went from a C to a DD with muscle implants and looked absolutely incredible. Really natural and not 'stuck on' as some do. I was able to breastfeed my daughter, who was born in 2024, for 11 months, and now obviously I need some 'adjusting ', so I am going back to Dr Van Look for this. I would recommend him to anyone. I'm even taking a friend with me who wants hers done. He is brilliant at what he does.

I would like to thank Darren Lewis for my first operation removing a mole on the side of my right breast operation went really well, but my results came back cancer melanoma stage 1A. So I have had another operation 16th March 2023 with Darren Lewis a wider operation to check that this has not spread. Waiting for results staying positive.
