I would like to Thank You So Much for everything, to the Global Health and BookingSurgery. My coordinator was amazing and answered all questions and doubts, the support was incredible. Because even though my surgery is done, she made herself available if I need any support. I had such an amazing experience during my stay in the Optimed International Çorlu Hastanesi. I had Dr Ali Tardu as my surgeon and he was amazing, very attentive, and checked on me regularly. I can say that I had fun during my stay. All the staff that worked on the 6th floor, Nurses and Housekeepers that were in contact were amazing, friendly, kind, caring and patient. It felt like home. The only "negative" thing was with the kitchen staff from the hospital, not negative but they were not prepared for people with gluten intolerant and vegan. That was mentioned in advance before I booked the surgery and when I arrived at the hospital. With me it was not a big problem because I was not eating but my friend is gluten intolerant and they kept giving her food with gluten, I mentioned it to the staff and they gave her an alternative but not much. The other negative thing was that they did not understand one of my allergies, I mentioned to my coordinator that I have allergies to latex before I booked the surgery and I also mentioned in the hospital when I arrived, but kept using latex gloves during all stay, the only time that did not used was during the surgery because I see them with the latex free gloves and they kept saying no latex.

I lost 15kg after one month! The experience with doctor Metin Karadeniz was perfect. I had professional help and the hospital is very nice. Thanks to Sezen (my translator and contact person) and Deniz (my dietician). It’s a very professional and friendly environment. I got the recommendation to go there through a friend who got amazing results and I know mine will be just as wonderful! Thanks to the team.

I chose to have my Gastric Sleeve surgery with NewMe Clinic following recommendations. I know someone who has had surgery here already and has had great success. I also chose this clinic due to the experience and reputation of Prof Nurullah Bulbuller. From the moment I made contact I was impressed with the responsiveness to my questions, I had loads! We was greeted at the airport and transferred to the hospital in comfortable transportation. All staff treated me and my husband with the utmost respect. I had to have some tests done on arrival, which continued the morning of surgery day, to make sure I was fit for surgery. The surgery went well, although the pain when being woken was unbelievable! Once back in my room, I was given intravenous pain relief, which relieved the pain enough for me to settle. The pain eased greatly 3 days after surgery. I was encouraged to walk soon after surgery, which is important to relieve pain from gas. My husband was provided with all his meals during my stay and a comfortable bed in my room. We didn’t want for anything. I have been sent home with vitamins, stomach protector and blood thinning injections, with a support network on the phone if needed. What a journey it has been! Obesity patients will understand me quite well, the process we are going through is really not easy. I'm a few days back after having 12 12-month gastric balloon. I went by myself and that was fine as everything was planned very well, pick ups turned up on time each time and Irem took great care of me in the first-class hospital. My first couple of days I felt rough but then quickly got back to feeling like myself by following the eating plan and using the medication provided. I would certainly return and recommend it, now I'm looking forward to the new me.

I chose to get ESG Max done with Dr Murat Ustun, after being referred by a friend and another medical doctor in Turkey. Dr Ustun speaks English fluently and has many years of experience with bariatric surgical procedures. While there were a couple of hiccups along the way, overall I had an outstanding experience, and would recommend Dr Ustun to anyone considering a bariatric procedure. The package I chose included transport to and from the airport, as well as a multi-night stay in a luxury hotel within walking distance of the hospital. I had an initial consult with him by Zoom, which was complimentary. He explained to me the benefits and risks of multiple options. We agreed on a date and finalised the reservation. Depending on the hospital in question, they might or might not require a 10 to 20% deposit. If available, I personally would recommend Liv Hospital in Vadistanbul. If you are travelling from outside of Turkey, I would advise travel insurance. My pre-operative evaluation was conducted the day before. The international hospital has staff and translators who speak varying degrees of English. I was instructed on when to start fasting, and I reported to the hospital the next morning. Liv is a private hospital, and I found it to be very clean, and it is also in a nice area of town. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Additionally, unlike some public hospitals, it was not overcrowded. Dr Ustun came and greeted me before the procedure. He was also present in the operating room after I woke up from anaesthesia. After I was back in my patient room later that day, he came to check on me and explain the results of my procedure. He also came back once per day to check in, until I left and went to the hotel. I have also had access to him by phone ever since the initial consultation, and he continued to follow up on my progress even after I left Turkey. I have been very impressed with his availability and dedication to follow-up care in looking after his patients. A couple of things I would clarify before having a procedure. First, make sure to inform them of any medications you take, and how long prior to the procedure they might need to be stopped. But also clarification on when it is safe to resume them. Additionally, unless administered by the hospital staff, if you are instructed to take any specific medications postoperatively, these will need to be purchased from a local pharmacy outside of the hospital. Personally, I would advise bringing with you any liquids you might consume as part of the postoperative diet. This might include things like protein powder, etc... By bringing them with you, this removes the hassle of trying to go out and shop for the things you want in local stores. If I need to have another procedure done in the future, I will most certainly choose Dr Ustun again. Furthermore, the anesthesiologist team was much better than the last time I went under anaesthesia. When I had surgery in the past, I woke up with a terrible sore throat, and it persisted for days. The nurses said it was because they had a tube down my throat to breathe for me. But when having ESG Max done at Liv, my throat felt completely fine as soon as I woke up.

The gastric sleeve procedure I underwent at MC Health was flawlessly organized and executed. Julia helped me a lot during the process. I've lost 30+ kg and feel amazing! I had my procedure in August 2023. Mel was amazing and supported me through the whole process. I stayed for 5 days and took my partner. The rooms were clean and cleaned 3 times a day. Everything was explained to me by Mel. The consultant took the time to constantly check on me and make sure I was ok.

To be very honest, I was very nervous about my surgery, but when I came to the clinic, I noticed that they provide their best services at a meager rate. Within one week of hospital and & hotel stay, their clinic staff members very much cared about my health status, and I lost 42 kg in seven months.
