Rather than a 'one size fits all' approach I find it more beneficial to integrate a range of different theories and techniques based on the individual client's needs. These include but are not limited to Humanistic Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-based Therapy, Gestalt therapy and Psychodynamic theory.

Making the decision to find a counsellor can be a difficult task, whether it is your first time or you are returning back to counselling. This means that I work in a way that suits each individual person, according to their needs. I work with both men and women experiencing a wide variety of issues which include trauma, depression, anxiety and relationship problems. 

Brian Holohan is a fully accredited Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Supervisor with the Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy. He holds as BA (Hons) Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy, a Master's Degree in Sexuality Studies, a Diploma in Addiction Psychology and a Diploma in Counsellor Supervision.    In 2013 he set up 2gether Counselling & Psychotherapy Services and is currently working with adults and couples online covering but not limited to such issues as: anger, anxiety, bereavement & loss, depression, stress, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, sexuality and suicidal ideation.  Brian has over six years experience in working therapeutically online and currently all One-to-One Adult and Couples Counselling sessions take place online via a secure video platform.
