This journey with Renata began about 6 weeks ago. It was a decision that was not made lightly as I had very conflicting opinions as to what I would actually gain from counselling. But due to a thought that I was beginning to lose my mind and experiencing very high-stress levels from a personal issue, combined with unresolved childhood issues I knew I was in trouble. I remember feeling nervous about being judged or getting strange looks and even though she'll think I'm either over exaggerating a situation or the opposite. I was met with a very friendly, warm introduction and immediately those doubts I had lessened. Renata, is very down to earth, empathetic and her attention to detail is second to none and how she engages in conversation, allowed me to drop the barrier I had up and the problems I was enduing just flowed. It is almost like she knows you better than you know yourself and in the short space of time I have known her, I feel that the problems I have can be fixed and feel very comfortable in her presence.
